To be fair, while Apple has used previous WWDCs to announce new hardware, it's not the "right" place to do so.

It's a good platform given how the whole world is watching, but it does rob the developers of their recognition, and I think that putting the sole emphasis on them this time around is really saying a lot.

Without the app ecosystem, the platform would not be quite as comprehensive or worth the investment. This time, I believe treating the developers with respect and not stealing their limelight was a good move on Apple's part. No other platform treats their worldwide developers with as much respect.

Still worry about apple's sense of direction. I just hope they retain the corporate feel on the next iPhone generation tho, and hope they don't make it into a candy bar to complement the awful and childish design of iOS 7/8...

Do u even know what WWDC stand for? It is WorldWide Developer Conference. What rubbish? If u know nuts about developing a software, shut ur gaping trap. WWDC is also for developers. U think the world revolves around u? :s8:

Sian wasted my time upgrading to ios8 and yosemite. Continuity is not enabled on the current versions of both so cannot SMS and call from Mac.

Reverted to mavericks and ios7

Am I the only one who loves the new dock? It actually goes really well with the new icons. Those new icons will look pretty bad with the current faux glass dock.

Unlike the iOS 7 icons, these new icon designs actually look really nice IMO. Really pleased, though I wasn't really particular about the new iOS 7 icons anyway.

just reminiscence... they made the similar flat dock before 2007
The History of Mac OS Through Screenshots.

OS X Leopard was the defining moment in OS X... Boot Camp to Windows, Spaces, Time Machine... I was a Mac convert that time cuz I was absolutely blown away by Spaces + Exposes, and the dock icons are dman beautiful.

Now it changes to flat design. :s22:

I hope they polish up the dock before the public release. The blue indicator light (to signify opened apps) is now a black dot wtf.
