Nice design also no use. The battery cmi

coming from a galaxy note 2, I would say yes, the battery CMI.

But yet its like comparing apples to oranges so to speak.

I feel the battery although not uber good, but it should be suffice for general users.

Of cuz have to charge before sleep luh.
Previously with my GN2, i can dun charge 1 night also can :s13:

I was using galaxy note 2 too.
The battery can last me 2 days as I'm a light user.
Even to a light user like me, Xperia z battery is really cui.
But no doubt I still like the design. Hope to last me a year since I bought it as my birthday gift.
Would see how for the next one or two weeks.

Just curious how long you own the phone already?

4 days nia. That was why I said wait for another week or 2 to see how it goes.
And, how long can your XZ last? (3rd time asking):s8:

Oh, sorry for not answering your question earlier on.

My phone now can last almost a day cos I will still charge it on my PC when I reach office and I do this to all my smartphones.

Yes, only 4 days so the battery is not season and stabilize yet. Give it some time to a week or 2 then you can see improvement.

Hopefully with the next firmware upgrade, the battery life will improve with LTE network.

Comparing fruit phone 4, sammy note 1 and z.... All 3 has the same problem... Batt drains off super fast when web surfing.....

As for normal use (w/o websurf), z seems to hav better batt... I wake up nex day n batt stil 100%...

For note 1, sometimes can go below 90%..., too many misbehaving apps...

Just sharing an interesting fact on the LCD Manufacturer on our Xperia Z, there is a thread in XDA Forum which you can use the Terminal and key in commands to check whether your Xperia Z LCD is made by which LCD Manufacturer and I got the below result :

LCD Manufacturer : SHARP (Check out the below screenshot on the portion in Yellow)

If your SIM card is the big one then you just have to cut it to MicroSIM and as for the 4G, just have to ask your Telco to activate the 4G for you.

You have to check with your Telco whether they will download your plan or data cap if you activate 4G but 4G is definitely faster and when you are using 4G, you will never want to use back 3G. =:p

I'm on 4G lte now! Called Starhub and request to change plan, within 10 mins I got 4G already. Just as you guys said, the speed difference is very significant. Thanks for the info that gave me the push I needed to change to 4G guys!

Only downside is the drop from 12gb to 2gb. Now just need to use wifi whenever I'm home. I rarely use wifi on my phones before and not used to changing from 3G to wifi. But "Location based wifi" helps a lot with that.
