How about the camera performance?

Camera performance depending on which side you are on. Sharper image but more noise or less sharp but lower noise. If you like the first, then 4.3 is fine for you, if not, you should stick to 4.2.2.

However, 4.3 got many interesting add on, fun add on which you will not get with 4.2.2.

Look for Jimmy's lovexperia in facebook, you can find link to background defocus add on for your 4.3.

Camera performance is about the same. Just that it now support apps like AR Effect motion shot... etc... Their ui seems slightly nice than before. 4.3 update for Z is for slight performance enhancement and UI improvement.

There's no easy one-click root method. The "long" method is:

my friend told me battery life has improved after updating.

for those who updated to 4.3 from 4.2.2 and battery life is a problem,
maybe that's because Android system keeps on running even if your phone is left on standby. like when you thought it went to sleep as the screen is off when it is not.
try to reset to factory settings and see how is it.

settings > power management > battery usage.

download and install "wakelock detector" ,see what are the apps running on the background. from there, maybe can go under settings > apps > all (swipe all the way to the right). scroll down the list of apps and find the culprit of the battery drain. example like Google+,hangout if you find it no use.

for battery saving, I am using "2x battery saver" as I find it is better than the integrated stamina mode. have compared both. the pro version is $2 though. been using it since nov 2011.

I am using Xperia Ultra though.

my phone also quite no horse run....after 100% charged when i unplug the cable and restart the phone it drop to 96%

I wil turn off wifi when I sleep.. But sometimes forgot to turn off my home modem, so the hp wil autodetect wifi network n auto reconnect (even though I off my wifi)... When I wake up nex morning, batt wil drop to 60% from 100%
