did u disable stock launcher?
it will blink when got msg while charging. btw, is your stamina activated? if so, led will not work.

nope....i just choose nova as my default launcher..the xperia launcher is still loaded to memory...
now i am thinking to root or not for my xz...

Most of the people on another forum are telling the Battery guru by snapdragon is much much better than the stamina mode and gives realistic prediction and strengthens battery , also to note it takes 2-3 days to actually give u results as it learns the usage on the phone and adjusts accordingly ,, will report back in a few days based on the usage

Same here, using nova launcher but the free version, so far so good.. Loving it, not lagging or anything

Just a quick personal review ,... just that my opinion
I am coming from Note to Note 2 and now to XZ , honestly the Z is much sharper and no pixelating compared to note 2 , may not be bright but defnitely a winner when you watch videos which are 1080p full HD , Note2 cannot compete with the full HD reproduction , the text is crisp and clear than the Note2 but again personal opinion , cannot use the XZ with full brightness as the screen would appear all bright whitish washing out the colors ..
Battery yes no where near the Note 2 again since the Note2 has a monster battery and this has a decent one . This defnitely pisses of people from Note 2 to get a crappy battery life .. again you wlil just have to learn to use Battery apps to control the usage of unwanted process and keep the phone more organised which will help u get better battery ,
My typical usage 1 to 2 hours of screen usage ( 30 mins + 30 Mins of Video play back during my train journery form and to office ) 2 hours of Music play back . 30 mins of web .. 20 mins of call.. may be a avg of 30 sms.
The battery still survives ti about 10-15% which is descent , I use the snapdragon battery guru than the Stamina mode app ...
its always that most of carry a portable charger all the time I dont think getting through a day of heavy usage shouldnt be a problem ever,,,
screenwise HTC butterfly loooks more vivid and bright next to XZ at Starhub outlet , but again its in a demo mode with some tweaks on device to attract the consumers its never the same when you get one on your hands and these demo ones are always on charger hehehe....

A warning to all Z's user who is using / planning to use it without casing. Handle with care. My back glass cracked when i dropped it accidentally on concrete floor..haizz
please let us know what is the repair cost later when u send to sony service centre.....
feel sorry for your back glass...

A few day old and it cracked.
