This phone seems so awesome

Just a few questions... coming from a iPhone user...
would it be super troublesome if I switch over to this phone? (contacts etc.)

Plus i read at other forums that the XZ can't sync with a Mac
anyone has any idea about this?

Erm... any water resistant rubber seals have a lifespan and will degrade with wear and tear. Especially for the one at the microusb port which is used daily.

You're taking a risk by washing your phone intentionally, and the risk gets bigger as the phone ages. I know it's fun, but worth the risk or not?

Yes. With the camera app for the small app, it is so much better and can do multi tasking. This small app is patented to Sony only and you cannot find similar apps from the playstore unlike other features in Samsung, you can find similar apps in playstore like the smart stay.

it doesn't get hot at all, maybe i'm not a heavy user. but normal surfing seems fast and snappy and no, there's no heat generated at the back at all. I suspect it may happen when you're stuck at a low-coverage area where LTE or 3G may be limited...

So far so good. Phone looks cooler seated on my workstation as well

Guys, anyone facing problem where Xperia Z connecting to Wifi will cause modem/router to repeatedly restart?

Everytime my Xperia Z connects to my wifi at home, it will restart every 30mins to 1hr. Very annoying, my friend who bought the HP together with me is experiencing the same thing. We're both using Singtel for internet.

I have the same problem but mine restarts every 5 minutes. jia lat. Using Pace. Called Singtel technician. First day they replaced the router. With the new router, still faced the same problem. They came again today, told them about Xperia Z causing the problem.

Technician listed a few phones that faced the same problem and said I should go and lodge a complain to Sony itself.

I'm using drive mode pro for my new sony xperia z but everytime got incoing call I have to press the speaker icon for it to be speaker mode and furthermore the incall volume is very very soft. Anyway to boost it?

I haven't seen anyone reported about yellowish tint at XDA as well. He is a well known troll here.

my huawei tablet will crash the 2wire modem everytime i try to download gameloft data files. update apps, download comics won't crash.

haven't encounter xperia s/z crashing the modem yet.

On my current S2, i export all contacts and get a VCF file, can this file be opened on the XZ itself?
scared tmr get phone liao but cannot get the contacts then gg.

Yes, the default Contacts app in the Xperia Z allows for import of vcf files.
