Xperia Z vs Galaxy Note 2


Look the girl getting fatter on Xperia Z
To me SGN2 giving better screen effect with white background than Z.
While Z white color blending is yellowish.

Default speaker is not loud but i guess quite okay.
Testing on the Sony Walkman player and it is major disappointment, I mean I expecting Sony have a good music player at least the same if not better than PowerAMP.

I felt like Sony wasting screen space by making function button into screen.
Software itself is quite a learning curve if you from Samsung which have so called 3 hardware button.

Will test the camera.

Overall The phone form factor attract me. I will use it naked to see how tough it will be.

Very sorry to IceShelterX bro. I saw wrong and merge the thread. When i looked back, i found out i shouldn't have merged it. Xperia Z should have a standalone official thread, just like how ZL will have his also when it is launch.

i am still using Samsung Note 1.. and i i stay 18th storeys, many a times this bloody ** phone nearly ended up flying down..

this Xperia Z really caught my attention with all the big hoo haa..
gonna go hunt for and hoot it tmrw.. then come back here continue the reviews..

Flame you for what? The photo was taken at sideways, we know the viewing angles of Sony phones.

Anyway, collected my purple toy was night...
Charged till 100%
Played with it for awhile till 95% and put Stamina mode on.
Woke up this morning and phone was 77% and phone was powered off instead of standby mode.

Will continue to monitor....

Anyone can help with the icons displayed at the top?
I see 2 new icons which i am not familiar.
How to take screen shot btw?

Just tried taking some pics of walls, face photos looks fine...

For the battery, it is consider quite new for the 1st charge and it will stabilize as the time goes like after 1 - 2 weeks, you will notice that battery performance getting better.

And if you notice that when during the last few percentage of the battery, it can last quite long after the battery stabilize.

Only FB and Drive.

Try remove fb. It's known that fb causing lot of wake lock. Suggest use friendcaster if you want to keep updated with ur fb notification.

Indeed, the samseng crapwiz is a ****ing joke!

doing a side-by-side comparsion between the Z and the N2.
From my office, I cannot access FB, Internet, Playstore on the Z.
On the N2, absolutely no problem, no lagging and smooth.

Both on 4G but signal strength on both phones are 2bars.
Wireless is OFF

Quite disappointed...cos i like the Z

Heard battery is like that for this set, one week later will be ok.

To take screen shot (I'm using Arc) press power button and select take screen shot.

Looks like only me having issues with indoor photos...randomly its good, but mostly looks greenish yellow

Does the sony center give one to one exchange or they in for checking the camera module...if opened, am sure new problems will start surfacing..
