My battery is do well today. 3 hours 20mins of screen on time and still 33% left..... Using the phone since 27th feb and 2.5 weeks later, the battery is awesome....!

USB voltage is typically ~5V. It's the current output that varies for different devices. Newer ipad charger should output 2A as compared to XZ's 1.5A. Should work though I won't recommend.

Hey guys/gals, I set my brightness at max, and I noticed my ph will dim once it gets heated up. Is it am inbuilt overheat function.? My previous s2 will reduce brightness to 70% once it gets heated so wondering if z is the same

one thing I notice, if u surf the web using chrome, your z heat up like a microwave. no such issue if u use Firefox .

and camera load up fast with powercam, but damn slow with stock camera app .

When I used stock browser on my TX, the highest temp. it hits is around 37c.
When I used chrome, it easily hits around 41c after few minutes.

4.5hours of screen on time... I'm sure this is decent from battery perspective. Brightness is about 50% with auto on.

Not for me... The chrome browser ofte get stuck midway n I had to press refresh many times for the page to get loaded... After I switched to dolphin browser, I truly understood the power of LTE..

The "workshop" was disappointing. They shouldn't even call it a "workshop".

Start of event, they serve buffet, then the emcee (in suit) introduced a "professional photographer who has held his own exhibition" to talk about taking photos on the Xperia Z. This guy goes up to the stage and says he is not a professional photographer, he has a full-time job and his hobby is taking photos using mobile phones... Then he shared about 7-8 photos that he and his friend took using the XZ and some info on the modes used.

Then a very long "break". Where you can go buy accessories, see NFC devices and demo, learn about apps, etc at different "stations".

After that they auctioned off 3 XZ.

All along there was a table with microphones and drinks on the stage, I was expecting some more sharing on the XZ BUT, after the auction, we were told that's it for the event, bye bye.

What kind of workshop was this?!? The only benefits were seeing the latest NFC devices being demo-ed and buying some accessories at special discounted prices.

you need to root to remove them

Its in the root function of widgetlocker settings.

Also, u might wanna flash ROMs with black nav bar while u are at it too

Hmmm..actually I am waiting till April for 4.2 update, after that only I will root my XZ !!

What's your usage? Most of the time using wifi only? Btw is not good to let battery drop til below 15%...

Don't really care about battery health but user experience because I do change phone once a year due to mio home package. Both WiFi and LTE, 2 HOURS Facebook refresh interval and no autosync for services. If I drop my brightness I reckon I could hit 5 hours of screen on time. Oh, no stamina mode too.

Not sure if it is a bug but when I type using "swift keyboard" and I want to change the keyboard to the xperia Chinese keyboard, I can't. Anyone has the same experience?
