Ya. Been checking for many nights already. But for your info, i did a manual flash of a stock Singapore 412 firmware that i got from XDA forums. Wonder if this is causing it to not detect an update.

Since you know how to do a manual flash, why don't you just do a manual flash of the 423 firmware?

upgrade to 4.2.2 liao can feel abit lag on lock screen.. anyway to remove the multi screens for lock screen? keep accidentally scroll..

any1 know how to use the daydream, sens slideshow to show selected folder only?

You mean JB 4.1.2's 10.1.A.1.434?

Maybe try other telco firmware and unbranded one also.

If you don't add, theres only the default + camera.

daydream is screensaver, active when you didn't turn off the screen when charging and docking.

ya, screensaver.. but i want it to show my selected folder only for the slideshow..

last time i custom firmware my s2 i could select folder and it was pretty awesome..

now its jus showing recent photos which are work related

qns to ask the bros here

the apps history, i saw a whole list of them, Does that mean the app is idling in the background or it doesnt suck the battery at all. if it does, how to I remove them?

2nd, apps like media, small apps manager, device usage, xperia home, these can be be stop or is impt apps for the phones.

ram already abt 800MB is use. is that alot?

Swipe left/right to remove from the list, yes I believe they are running in the background.

FF can sync between desktop n mobile too, but it's more like for that particular desktop's FF to the phone, you will need to input the code/pin to enable syncing. As for Chrome, it's across all computers and mobile devices that you are using, so I find that more convenient.

Oh. I thought it's across all computers and mobiles. I didn't know this as I couldn't get it to sync. Chrome is better this way.

I am facing a little problem here after upgrading to 4.2.2 . When I launch my camera from lockscreen and press the "setting" icon in the camera app, it jumps back to lockscreen instead of options. Any advise? Thanks

I tried on my Xperia Z and I dun have such issue. I suggest you do a pc repair as it might be due to software corruption when upgrading.

thx. that helps. But is there a way to auto disable or set a number of history down. it seem alot of history = alot running in the background.

Or did any bros here use any task killer?

for battery, juice defender work better, since it on 3g on an interval to download msgs while xperia's just off 3g when screen is off?

Guess it has been discussed some time back, you just have to press the power button and volume down button together to take screen shot.
