I am facing a little problem here after upgrading to 4.2.2 . When I launch my camera from lockscreen and press the "setting" icon in the camera app, it jumps back to lockscreen instead of options. Any advise? Thanks

I tried on my Xperia Z and I dun have such issue. I suggest you do a pc repair as it might be due to software corruption when upgrading.

Once lock screen security feature is set i.e. pattern, PIN unlock, etc. you cannot change camera settings when the camera is launched via quick launch to prevent tampering with the settings. Its meant to be like that. BTW, I have activated pattern unlock.
Carlover76, did you set any security feature like PIN, Pattern, unlock?

I only have one problem and that is sometimes all audio output comes out from the phone reciever speaker instead of the loudspeaker

I have the same problem too. I though it was supposed to be like that i.e. you cannot change camera settings when the camera is launched via quick launch. BTW, I have activated pattern unlock.

I just tested and I don't have the same problem. FYI, I'm not using any security feature like PIN or Pattern Unlock, only Swipe Unlock.

ya, screensaver.. but i want it to show my selected folder only for the slideshow..

last time i custom firmware my s2 i could select folder and it was pretty awesome..

now its jus showing recent photos which are work related :vijayadmin::vijayadmin::vijayadmin:

I think can not choose folder, it will display all photo/image found. but you can go to album and select SensMe to slideshow image inside that folder.

Other issues after update to 4.2 is
1. the power button seem to take a while to wake the screen..
2. sometimes all the sounds that are supposed to come out from the speaker comes out from the phone reciever speaker instead i.e. the speaker that is used for phone calls

Yes. You are right, I did not set any security lock. I tried setting the pin lock screen and when you select the settings for the camera, it will bring you back to the lock screen.

I would say this might be a security feature to prevent accessing to your personal data, if it allows you to access the camera settings, it might be a security bleach as well so see how you look at it.

I sold my xperia z liao this phone really cmi many many problem-matic

Guess it is not as problematic as Samsung lo. Good luck to your new phone.

I am using my Xperia Z since the launch in March and after upgrading to 4.2.2, I am loving it more each day.

Oh, forget that you always root the phone and modify many things which result the phone having too much problems then should be user fault and not phone problem.

A lot people love root and modified this and that.

I all time do that and still running perfectly.

Conclusion still user issue. ;)
