:s13::s13: the xperia fans say good riddance to lousy user while the user that sold off his xperia say good riddance to lousy phone.

I vote for good stuffs only... these is not limited to Sony..

But ... surely.. it took him long enough and soon he will start the ball rolling on the other sub forum LOL.

I mean it has more features compared to note 2?

Nope note 2 aka samsung apps got the most feature, so many features n apps (bloated) till latest s4 left 7gb.

Imagine pass to your a device which is half memory full, over less than 3 mths sure a lot of junks file, confirm lag.

Sony device servicing really damn cp, keep servicing problem half chance will come back. Really must push for change one new sets.

I see i really like the look of xperia and the fact that it's also waterproof (can it be plunged totally underwater?)

Yet from the few forummers here one who said he went back to note2 another said he is on his 3rd set already shows that maybe sony products just cannot match up to samsung's.

Honestly how good is the camera compared to note 2?

I come from a S3. It too has lotsa features that xperia dun have. But after all the bugs it gives, i sold it off after 8 mths. Anyway i dun use any of the "Samsung features" too. A few of my friends all jump to Xperia from Samsung due to the bugs their sets are giving them.

They never try to exchange?
Which features you mean?

Go service ctr repair but still din solve problem. Basically its battery drains really fast, lag, random reboots. S3 i remember got the multi window app i think, can use 2 apps at one go. The mini video player on home screen, to name a few.

Yes, it can be completely submerged into water (up to 1 metre and up to 30 minutes).

Ignore the one who went back to Note 2. He has been modding his phone and encountering problems and then blame it on the phone rather than his "skills" or the mods.

For the one who's on his 3rd set, I believe he dropped his phone before (search his posts).

A lot of us have been using the Xperia Z since its launch, and have no issues whatsoever.

Strongly agree with that. Samsung firmware is well-known for the bugs as they have over tweak the original firmware from android which results in many bugs when it cannot support those tweaks. That explains why their phone is laggy and will hang after some time of usage.

This type of user experience will seldom happen to Xperia models as Sony focus on user experience.

I strongly agree with that. I got my phone since the launch in March, I have root and modify and it is still stable and good.

Could it be 4.2.2 problem? Mine keep having random reboots after the software update, never had this problem on 4.1.2

Also higher frequency of apps hanging and crashing too on 4.2.2

Did you do a pc repair or just upgrade from 4.1.2? You might want to try to do a pc repair to see issue still persist.

I am referring to Samsung's S3 & Note 2. My friends all have no issues so far with their Xperia. Save for the slow start up of camera.

Does anyone know how do I activate the nfc to read ezlink or cashcard? I installed flashpay app and tried on the new McDonald's flashcard, doesn't work leh. The phone will keep vibrating, but doesn't show anything.
