Check if your flip case is with magnet-move a metal pin/paper clip around the bottom left of it.
Check if is your phone issues-move a magnet around back button area to activate sleep/wake mode.

i tried to move a magnet around the back button. it doesn't seems to have a magnet at that area.

did you try on your phone?

checked all the sensors using an app... all seems to be working fine.

can you check if you try to cover the top of the phone with your palm, does it activate sleep/wake mode?

Power and volume buttons are covered, I don't feel any difficulty in pressing. Everywhere is covered apart from the front (duh), the camera, the USB port and 2 mics top bottom. It's a flexible wrap-around cover. When you face the phone screen down, the wrap-around edges prevents the screen from contact with the surface.

hey,magnet is on the front flip cover lower left hand corner ( when closed it is around your phone back button)

on your phone around back button there should be a sensor -- thats why i ask U to move a magnet to see if the sensor is working !

its a "magnetic sensor" therefore it cannot be activate by your hand

the purpose of covering the top of the phone with hand is to see if the auto sleep/wake mode can be activated by the proximity sensor.


Samsung s-view cover is activated by the magnetic sensor but not sure if asus is using the same method.
