tried it at the hwz preview event, liked the clean design, size [not too small, not too big], camera features [pixelmaster, time rewind, etc]

minus would be lack of backlight for home, menu, back keys, and lack of removable battery, both which the redmi note has; am concerned about size & weight of redmi note though...

got it. Thanks. I'll try it out. Was pretty happy with my Redmi but sold it in anticipation of the note. Now let's see how it goes.

Yup the additional ram works wonders,it's super smooth compared to my redmi.camera is pretty decent with no tint as mentioned by other users.

Collected noon at Nex...Here's my review:
- Nice phone & build quality design dont have the cheapo feeling. Worth the $199
- Screen is solid nice and vibrant, despite only 720p
- Typing is responsive and predictive text is great
- Camera has burst mode, scene mode, AE locked function and tons of other stuffs which I like. Thumb Up (I'm speaking from a photographer point of view)
- Installed apps is great without much delay (But will slow down once u hv too many apps installing at the same time)
- Simple games like Rail Rush, Candy Blash, Plant vs Zombies, etc are quite ok in term of speed. But once comes to my favourite game like Dead Trigger 2....slow man....(I wouldn't blame cos u can't expect a decent & low price phone to perform like the bigger bro)

So far I dont have much problem with Facebook (I mean crushing..) But will take note once of it

Due to short time frame, I cant test all apps and functions. But will give a good decent score if you dont mind at times the slow response & a bit of lagging.
By the way, this is my spare Android phone for my prepaid card. I'm a Apple user ^-^....

So will still be happily keep it since it doesnt cost me much...Any feedback do welcome

I just collected my Zenfone 5 today, and found many apps installed, among them are Candy Crush, Pet Rescue and Kindle apps. Does your Zenfone phone come with such apps also?

What upset me most is the screen has problem, there is a smear in the inner screen, can only be seen when the phone is turned on. I check with Challenger for a 1 for 1 exchange, but they refer me to Asus. I have just emailed Asus Marketing, hopefully they allow me to do a 1 for 1 exchange. Very upset with it
