Can i b your friend n u buy 4 me?
:)
For an entry phone, ZF5 is gd.
If its a 16G unit, lagi better

Pm me for details.

I bought a black ZF6 from ebay..shipped from Taiwan.

2gb 32gb internal storage.

Used it in KL where Low Yat Plaza is selling RM899 for the 8gb model.

Not many accessories available..only glass SP n some TPU/flip covers. Couldn't find any other colorful back covers to swap.

A good phone to use though if surfing at 3g speeds do not bother u too much (since we are so used to 4g speeds). Being my 1st dual-sim phone, the setup was easy.

The only problem was setting up the Asus a/c. Somehow was stuck at that stage n had to reset the phone to factory n circumvent the setup.

Would recommend this phone for traveling.

Wa lao! No so easily available for zf6. Just bigger, but will u not feel the resolution is stretched?

for me the cheaper the better since its meant to be a budget phone. can always increase storage space with micro sd card and apps can be moved to sd anyway! :s12:

using this now, got it from qoo10 for $7.50. :s12:

F5 singapore specs, taiwan selling 4490nt, Cheaper and better right? That is why ask fellow friends who go taiwan to hoot 3990 for something better. Since now mentioned ghey launching their lte soon, it will be even better.

HDR looks better for 1st set
auto looks better for 2nd set

shows that as always, need to trial-and-error; HDR not suitable for all occasions

Yeah man,

That i fully agree, the HDR is a Hit-Miss function right now ...

that is why i showed you guys two different situations ....

... sometimes, it really helps the pic, while other time, it screws it up ...

hopefully, it is just software issues ... which ASUS can fix it up in future updates ...

coming from Nokia WP, I know it it can be done .... just a matter whether they (OEM) want to do it or not ...

one good example is the "facebook issue" which myself and a few bros in HWZ were experiencing ... but after this morning ASUS OS update... seems ok liao

there were a few other "problem apps" - ONE DRIVE, MUZEI, 500 firepaper ..
so far, since update , things appear "steady" ..

will continue to monitor

I was at tampines 1 starhub retailer shop next to challenger and they told me that they have zenfone 5 for sale at 249, theirs os "1.6ghz compared to 1.2ghz that challenger is selling" hence more expensive.

Any truth to that?

You are wise enough to ask this question here, as the starhub retailer has just smoked you.

Asus Singapore Zenfone 5

Refer to the link above and you will know it.. Currently all zenfone 5 in singapore are having 1.6Ghz. Correct me if I'm wrong..

Have not heard of 1.2GHz processor though...

1. Well, its been more than a week, and i can safely claim that the batt life on the Zen is the worst I've every encountered. I can barely last 1 full day. Whatsapp, Facebook, Emails, browser. Batt dies bout after din time.

I switched by yesterday to my Redmi ... geesh. Had 34% left at bout bed time.

2. Still can't get use to the cam. The good shots are random. Its prob not fast enough. Still prefer the Redmi.

Re Battery - guess i have to see how it works for me as a tethering phone when I travel.

I saw a demo set at Starhub and tried Camera and its not good on auto mode at the shop in Vivo. Saw some pics posted by others (wonder what were their settings) and one on web comparing with iphone and seems not too bad.

I am taking my set only tomorrow. Will find out more on camera.

True enough. I bought the same tpu case from
EBay at just $2.50. Only thing it's from China and shipping takes 3 weeks.

Those who frequent to Jb can head down to KSL City Mall. Got myself a tpu case for Rm7 (S$2.70). Asked about the flip cover they said will be coming in soon.

ZF5 is selling at Rm599 with 1 year Asus M'sia warranty.
