I collected my phone yesterday.

Camera under low light is good, quite closed to my Xperia Z. (not something I am expecting out from a budget phone).

GPS locks well. For those who play ingress…. Yeah …. A decent phone.

Just got mine yesterday and yeah, for a $200 smartphone this Zenfone5 is pretty good. UI okay, feels like a generic Jellybean with some tweaks here and there.
Btw for those who have rooted their phones, which rooting app did you guys use?

u do not need the zf5 2b rooted.
Go to settings/lock screen/quick access

Press on it , no5 swtick on or off, n u will see 3 apps.
u could chg to another apps by pressing any
take note, only 3 apps

I got it. I replaced the 'telephone' with 'whatsapp', but it did not change anything in the round window when the flip case is closed.

If best denki is 219 for 2ghz 2gb model it is an excellent buy. With ocbc best denki card it is another 2% off.
