Hi help needed here,intend to get the zenfone 5 but was quite puzzle about the spec,currently saw whymobile selling 2gb 16gb rom but using snapdragon 400?but shouldn't the fone be using intel processor?Also is there a Chipset Intel Atom Z2580 2.0Ghz fone out there for zen 5?And how is the battery life?tia

Received on Sunday around 11am. Currently very satisfied with the performance, though speaker and earphone sound quite soft, speaker quality is better than my LG optimus G. On spec, resolution may not be top notch,but it is already very clear and bright.

Anyone knows how to get rid the clock at lock screen, it is at position 1/3 height and blocking any wallpaper you put in.

if really cant do anything to move/delete the clock from stock lockscreen,
can download other lockscreen app,
eg. magiclock

Stock governor is set at "Interactive" thus making the phone burst all 4 cores mid to full speed for just about anything. Download Cpu Stats to see it for yourself.

To prevent any conflicts,
Switch off Asus PowerSave. Clear its data at Manage Apps>All>Powersave>Clear Data.
Switch off any battery saving app you have downloaded and clear its data too.
Reboot.

Download No-Frills Cpu Control. This one detects Intel Physical and Hyperthread Cores and stick the settings correctly. Select Governor "OnDemand", Tick Apply on boot, Apply and reboot.

Open Cpu Stats and see all the 4 cores rest easy. Enjoi.

All Asus needs to do is give us an update using "OnDemand" Cpu governor to improve our battery life.

The current "Interactive" governor is performance biased. Performance mean short battery life. Simple as that.

I bought mine from Qoo10: Nilikin super frosted back cover. It comes with a free screen protector (glossy type) but after buying the cover, I think naked ZF5 looks much better/sexier.
