Now the retail stores start selling lower version of Zenfone 6 (CPU clock @1.6GHz not the high end 2GHz version) at $299.

Nasty Asus is trying to play the same old sales trick again after the media reported favorable review on the high end model. Lower end model has the same CPU as zenfone 5 which is much slower and lagging in terms of performance. If you are still keen on Zenfone 6, you better open your eye BIG BIG before you buy. Don't be a BIG carrot head.

Waiting for the stock bought from Qoo10, HGST Mobile, stock coming in after 160814 and only white.
Still waiting for the confirmation email after 6 days.
Really bad service from Asus Singapore without stocks of the ZF6.

i just saw a review of HGT mobile on qoo10, where 1 guy said they ordered on 10 Aug (few days after you probably) and though they said redemption starts on 16, they already gave them the set on 12th ?
his was red with local warranty.
whats the status of ur order now ? have u checked with them ?

i just saw a review of HGT mobile on qoo10, where 1 guy said they ordered on 10 Aug (few days after you probably) and though they said redemption starts on 16, they already gave them the set on 12th ?
his was red with local warranty.

Anyone having issues with the sensitivity of the screen? It either gets "under-sensitive" or "over-sensitive".

For example when trying to unlock the lock screen by swiping, the screen 'flickers' because it didn't detect a continuous swipe, but rather a on-off touching. Couldn't pull down the notification screen from top either.

When typing msgs, a single touch will cause multiple instances of pressing the same key.

Definitely not an issue with the screen protector, since problem occurs even without the protector on.

nope dont have. mine seems to be fine.

i dont think theres a setting that can adjust sensitivity also. maybe find another zf6 and test test ?

Is your glove touch disabled? Phone on lastest firmware unrooted? Factory reset? If 'yes' to the above, it could be a hardware problem that can only be fixed by ASUS service centre.

Whatsapp

Interested in this since I travel around for work.

If let's say I'm in Manila and then use my starhub plus local sim card. Then I activate the local sim card for 3G while there, would i still receive the whatsapp messages (which was originally set up using my starhub number?)

Should be right? Just wondering if someone has experienced the same scenario.

although whatsapp is registered to your mobile number, the application is tied to your phone regardless of whatever sim card that you use after the initial registration.


so yes you can use the exact whatsapp in Manila or anywhere else. and your contacts would not even know you are using another sim card/network.

given the same understanding, despite zf6 is a dual sim fone but it is only one hardware mobile. so it's impossible to run 2 copies of whatsapp on the same phone despite having 2 numbers which can be active at the same time.

I am having the same screen problem and i went for a refund. Sometime it just happen, it might be our fingerprint. But i got no problem with other phone. Upgraded to the latest and glove mode is off. Its just happen and very irritating.

And refunding process is slow and they do not update you through email, u have to call and know where is ur phone. The tracking number given was as good as useless. Cant find any web to track.

lets just say there are always problems occur to phones every now and then. but there are still phones that work flawless day in and day out.

Seriously bad.. inform me take about 5 workimg day for sosoon to receive from asus. No update, nothing at all. Think will take about 3 week like u before i get my refund.
