zf6 looks good. But seeing zf6 size like abit too much. Anyway i had bad experience with asus. My padfone crack within 3mth..

Seriously dont trust their gorilla screen. No problem with other brand. But their 24hour delievery only at $299. Comparing with redminote to get it asap it will be atleast $220.

Zf6 user. Will u take a $199 redmi note or $299 zf6 if u have a choice again?

On a side note, the zf6 has quite an impressive audio output. Bass is extended and tight. Mids are more laid back with airy highs.

Another worry is that i am lazy to root. Want a better battery life also. As i always charge overnight and the battery is not removable. If next note sale i cant get i will say hi to zf6

After using both I can say I will stick to the Zenfone 6.

The build quality and design is better, very premium feel.
In comparison, the redmi note while a good build, feels more plasticky and cheap.

Agree on that part. Especially when you use the Audio Wizard Music Mode, the sound quality is a LOT better than the redmi note. The redmi note audio output is... meh.

Back Camera quality on the Zenfone 6 is WAY better, the redmi note back camera is really just not good, noisy even in daylight.

The signal reception for both mobile and wifi is better on the Zenfone 6. At places where its usually a weak signal for the Note, i get full or nearly full reception on my Zenfone 6.

Support for SDXC 64GB. The redmi note only supports up to 32GB.

Performance is really on par or better, the Zen UI feels more fluid than the Redmi Note MIUI. Most of the time when web browsing, I think the Zenfone seems smoother.

Redmi Note, thanks to MIU,I has this really annoying issue for me that the whatsapp get pushed to phone late by mins or even hours!
No such issues with the Zenfone 6.

Is there any use for dual sim? one slot is 2G one slot is 3G right? so just use the 3G slot?

I travel a lot, so the dual sim slot is good for me as I don't need to bring 2 phones and both sims can be active at the same time. Both slots are 3G slots btw

Charging overnight does not affect the battery life. It's your charging cycle habit and frequency that affects the battery life. Always try to charge above 10% and never let it completely drain to 0%. Your average battery can last for years and we change phones like in less than a year? Non removable battery should not be much of a concern. And rooting the zenfone is baby butt smooth and easy. Just install an apk and you are good to go, everyone can root but not all know how to maximize its potential with the correct tweaks. Android is an open window with the opportunity to either fly high (performance) or crash and burn(bootloop, brick). Tread with care and read up at xda or related websites. The returns could well worth it and knowledge gained can be reapplied on other future android phones.

I sold my note shortly after getting zf6. Internal memory, storage expansion,audio output,signal reception, built quality and UI made the zf6 a clear winner. Camera wise note has better front facing camera but lets leave that to the ladies. Rear camera, zf6 has better depth of field and lesser noise in daylight shots. Note has more over saturated and overexposure shots hence more noise. Its good for us consumers that more companies are coming out with quality phones with very competitive pricing. Bigger brands like samsung and sony are going to have their slice of the pie shrink down significantly in the next couple years.

U could always disable the app those apps embedded in the rom, some google n asus.

Headphones. Sound is slightly more powerful than sony z2.
