So is anyone still going to Okinawa. I still trying to figure out if I can refund for all my bookings first before making a decision. My trip is on 17 March. Reaching soon. sigh.

From what I know, most airlines are cancelling their flights to Japan, offering full refunds. Jetstar is still very insistent on flying though from what I know, my flight only have 20 peoples.
Still got time to decide la.
We were contemplating even at the few days before our trip lol.
And if I were u I would still go knowing the risk.
However, if you do not want to face the possibility of being quarantined or 14days leave when u return to sg then dont go lor.

The problem is not for coming back quarantine for 14 days. I worry if the plane i taking has someone having high fever when reached Japan, then will i be quarantine immediately for 14 days? Cause insurance will not cover anything that is related to covid19.

Haiz dont know if I shld carry on or nt.

My wife company sent an email out saying if anyone travel against the travel advisory will face with bad performance review. WTH. This is considered threatening.

I will need to confirm by 10 Oct as some of my booking will be paid after that. :(

Well, you won't enjoy your trip if you have all these things to worry about.

There will always be other chances for you to travel.

So envy you. Are you going alone? My trip start at 17 March....coming back at 24 March. Think we are supposed to take the same flight back? :)

So sad that most probably I will have to cancel this trip as wife is more anxious on her job.

Going to lose all the non refundable stuff (about 1.2k) since MSIG clause for trip cancellation is so lousy. Looking at now, I think AXA seem to be the better insurance going forward.

Decided to cancel the trip. Managed to get all my refunds for non-refundable hotels bookings.

However Jetstar die die dont want to do refund. I do not understand why they are not flexible at this point. We are not asking them to refund everyone but at least to a certain travel period like ANA and JAL up to first week of April. If not because only Jetstar have direct flight to Okinawa, I will have book other airlines already.

Came back few days ago and the flight was more than 3/4 filled.

Over there feels quite normal, with some people wearing mask. Only thing is some attraction closed. Overall enjoyed myself.

Hi same here. I’m also flying Jetstar to Okinawa at the end of month but have decided to cancel it as well. Do you have to give up the flight cost?
