Okinawa - 5 days trip

Has anyone benn there. I can’t fund any info in this forum.

Any must visits and must eats for 5 days?

Was thinking if need to get rental car to drive to outskirts or take the day-trips from Naha.

U can refer to the sticky thread on trip reports. There are some report on Okinawa.
U can also search this forum, there were threads on Okinawa previously.

Getting rental car is recommended, coz not easy to get ard outside naha if using public transport. Most of the attractions are outside naha city.

Most visit is subjective. For me, it is the aquarium

5 days in Naha will be too much. Can do day trips from Naha.

I highly recommend go stay at Onna prefecture then 2nd stay at naha B4 gg back to airport. Naha being central easily get taxi at all timing along kudosai Dori. So no worry of transportation via naha to airport s$12-14 Max at 20mins or less.

Plan your stay away from naha as it can be a lot cheap, quieter n less crowded eg 3 days in Onna or American village.

Last 2 days can stay along kudosai Dori, u can drop ur luggage check in then return your rental car after that. Can spend last 2 days shopping n eat till u drop at kudosai Dori.

Preferably rent a car first 3 days n stay northern Okinawa, free parking most of time. To explore northern tourist spot such churami aquarium n seaside n cliff. Awesome sight seeing.
