Do any of u know if changi recommend wifi router connection is good in Okinawa? Or it will be better if I get a SIM card there? Thanks

I think Okinawa being fairly urban should be well covered by either the portable routers or sim cards.

The general consensus for Japan is to avoid iphones I think if you want to tether? Maybe you should check out the other thread about sim cards/roaming in the Japan forum.
