Actually international terminal is rather small and quite a walk (need to walk over domestic terminal then can reach monorail station)... but there are pre-paid

How is the weather in Okinawa during Dec period? Will it be as cold as Tokyo of 5-10 degree? Being on islands and most sightseeing is on seaside, will the weather be cold from windy? trying to gauge how much clothing and luggage need to prepare for Early Dec 2017 trip. 80% of time we will be driving.

Else now u go to downtown area and stay one night near the train station. They have early train to airport.

I'm in okinawa now and I think this will be my first and last time to okinawa. Omg. This place is so inaccessible without a car. Can someone help me as I am staying in a deserted location in chatan? Do you know roughly how much it cost for a taxi to naha airport for 80 mins journey? I'm taking morning flight at 8.30am and I don't think the bus operate that early.

I'm alone in a airbnb house and the host is so unkind asking me to take a taxi. Of course I know there is a thing call taxi. The place is so scary. Not a single soul at night except for cars driving past and a stray cat.

Erm... U went there without planning?!
80min of taxi is likely to cost ard $100 or even more. See if u can get an accom that is near airport and stay a night there

Thanks. I'm taking early morning flight and I don't think I can stay overnight at naha airport

Now is off peak season for okinawa, it may still be possible to get last minute accom in naha city, which have direct train to the airport.
Just forgo a night of ur current accom. Better than taking the risk. Coz it may be difficult to get a taxi in the middle of the night, and it is going to be expensive to travel long distance on taxi. Dunno if there is the risk of jam or road diversions also

Since when the TS got scolded? I think Hilton concierge will be able to help to get taxi if you informed early in advance.

My stay in Naha - kodusai dori, 6am and plenty of taxis ard on the street. Btw, airport only open at 7am. They switch on the lights at 6.59am...zhun zhun open door at 7am... My fren almost stupidly wanna save a day hotel and wanna camp at airport since morning flight... luckily he didn't or he be camping with kids at airport outside door entrance.

Please people, do at least abit of research of the destination you're flying to in terms of hotel/transport/airport.

I think those 3 things are the minimum one should know about the destination.
