Old clothes donation

Where is a good place to donate old clothes for charity? Salvation army leave their bins at my apartment but some gian png resident (in fact always the same person)will always go ransack the bin before salvation army collectors come.

Salvation army will try to sell off excess or unneeded items. And funds go back into the charity pool.

yesterday I donate to Muslim one.

I don't know you got or not. Just pack nicely and paste their plamplets on it , they will collect on the date they stated.

Still better then all going to the same gian png resident.

This resident not only pick up from salvation army bin, those NEA recycle bin also pick.

I believe the person has some mental illness.

occasionally there will be trips overseas asking for used books/toys/clothes. may wish to link up with the organisers and donate your used items.

won't recommend salvation army cos they leave the 'bin' open. further that it rains frequently during this period. hence often not the conditions are just too terrible to be give away. it has become a solid dumping ground for old/wrecked items for the residents nearby.

used clothes can give h&M
they send to recycle textile and make clothes sell to people
saw a video on it but sometimes i suspect singapore will pack clothes to send back to h&M factory meh....



new clothes give charity...

tiagong salvation also dun anyhow give collected clothes to needy people unless very new but i dun work there so ish just tiagong. i mean needy people nowadays also dun want to wear those "questionable" clothes (if u have seen the things being donated).
