Hi everyone! May I know if there is any chance for me to recover every document from my old laptop (Toshiba), which is already damaged?

Could you remove the hard drive? Assuming so and that it's still intact, put it in an enclosure and see if you can remove.

If it's encrypted, then you need to handle the encryption keys appropriately. For Bitlocker keys, they're usually automatically backed up on your Microsoft Account or Sharepoint account, but you need to check. For other encryption methods, check the relevant documentation.

I use Microsoft OneDrive for this reason - so my documents are backed up on the cloud in case my computer goes down. Has happened to me in the past - since we cannot predict computer or hard drive failure. Some use Dropbox or other services with their Documents automatically synced.

Will check on it. I used to save my docs in a hard disk but my hard disk is also spoiled so I can't restore all the old documents during my uni days..
