old laptops, devices and cables

so I have tonnes of old devices that I am wanting to do a purge of (because I'm moving), so I wanted to download some of the data and then do a data wipe.

But I have lost the cables for some of them.

Does anyone have any advice on how to do this? Is there some sort of a super master cable for all sorts of electronic devices?

Note the average age of said devices are 10years old...

Are they media recording devices? Some of the could have proprietary ports. The rest should be easy to obtain cables for. Would be easier if you share some photos of the common ports on your devices.

You can get one of those USB external kits that can connect up SATA, IDE (older PC interface), IDE mini (old laptop interface). What you would need to do is to take out the hard disk and connect them to your main PC using this and format the drives. I still have one of these and have used it recently to backup my PS4 HDD.

- about 5-6 old handphones
- 3 old windows laptops (I think Toshiba, Asus and one more can't remember brand)

YES the USB adapter can interface with the iMac, Macbook and Windows laptop HDD's. The thing is you will need to go through YouTube videos to look at how to take them out IF you're looking to backup the data to another HDD.

OR

If you can turn on the systems then connect up a USB HDD to backup what u want before re-formatting.

Alternatively, just do clean reformats on the devices and sell or give away,...

Continuation of this - I think all this is too complicated for me.

Do you think I can bring all my stuff to some shop in e.g. Sim Lim who can help me with this? If so is there any recommendation for which shop?
