Anyone use this camera, know if its good?

I know mark II released already but how much better is it?

My use will be for general photography, not a pro, not acting like a pro, do not want to be a pro, just want to take decent shots and not having to worry about noise at ISO400 (like in my crap previous pointandshoot).

it was a game changer in terms of IQ and its 5 axis stabilisation in 2012 for mirrorless cameras. Still a very good performer if one does not 'mind' its an 'older' model.

If you are concerned about low light performance, can consider Fujifilm X-T10. The price range should be pretty close for both. In fact just not too long ago I am considering between EM-5 Mk 2 and Fujifilm X-T1, in the end I chose X-T1. No regret at all and the JPEG output even at ISO 3200 is VERY usable.

The IQ between the X-T1 and X-T10 should not differ very much as they are using the same sensor but some reviewers claimed the IQ of the X-T1 does look slightly better.

I would avoid Olympus and consider Fuji instead.
Fuji have better support for their products, more/better lenses and haven't had huge fraud scandals.

Actually Olympus Pro lenses are very good. Am considering the Olympus OM-D EM-5 Mark II with the 12-40 Pro lens.

What a coincident........that is the exact combination I am looking at when I bought my X-T1. Deciding between the Olympus OM-D EM-5 Mark II with the 12-40 Pro lens and the Fujifilm X-T1 with 18-55mm kit. Bought the Fuji mainly because of low light performance, better JPEG quality (IMO), design of the camera (with all the knobs) and the feel of the camera. The user manual on the Fuji is also less complicated. No doubt the 12-40 Pro lens is really good.

If you don't mind 2nd hand lens, try clubsnap. For brand new, try the usual stores like mscolor etc...

it's still a v competent cam. the 5 axis ibis is class-leading. get the newer elite version if possible.
