Just wondering if anyone here uses an Olympus XZ-1? Because I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with mine - normally if a memory card isn't inserted into the card slot I should be getting an error message telling me there's no card in the slot when trying to take a photo right? But in my case, I don't get any warnings from the system about the lack of a card inside the memory card slot, so basically I only realise there's no memory card in the slot AFTER shooting the photo only to find it's not saved to memory.

Has any XZ-1 users encountered a similar issue and if so, how do I fix this?

The camera has an Internal memory • 55 MB.

So i guess bu design when no SD card is found it would write the photo into internal memory.
