On Going on Exchange

Hi all,

Has anyone been on a self-paid exchange? I didn't manage to make it into the selection for this round of GEMS Explorer so I'm thinking of going for the fee-paying option.

Would anyone who have past experience in this care to share how it is like compared to going on exchange with the school? I really want to go on an exchange for the coming semester...

the result is out? i think you just wait. some ppl may reject the offer and you may stand a 2nd chance. unless your GPA didnt make the requirement.

My GPA isn't very outstanding... (below 4).

I applied for a couple of Korean and UK unis but I heard from my friends that the chances of people dropping their offers for these unis are usually very low, so I'm trying to source for more information about this fee-paying scheme now cos NTU provides very little info on this...

ohh ok. If you are above 3.5, i think you stand a chance. ermm, i not very sure whether the 2nd window is randomly issue or accordingly to your selection. maybe you can ask the office if not go ahead and self-source your own exchange.
