There was a ruckus raised by Asus mobo owners on Youtube sometime back, something along the line of the ROG boards (and other models) not having the full-fat 4-WayOptimization feature. In fact, my Hero board has this feature but the auto-OC is fixed at 4.2/4.4/4.6 Ghz, whereas the other Asus boards performs a more comprehensive ("full fat") OC where it aims for the highest OC (not fixed speed steps) and does its own stress-testing multiple times to ensure stability.

I hope this will not open another can of worms similarly...

Consperm... I have the ROG M6F and the one click thingy don't work. It just sets your CPU multiplier and LLC settings to suit 42x, 44x or 46x. Voltage you still have to figure out yourself.

the Z87/Z97 deluxe boards have the full one-click function. Beats me why this isn't incorporated into the ROG boards.
