Anyone using export set? It's abt $200+ cheaper. Read that this year it's much harder to flash global rom from China rom. Will there be any issue with play store/g pay?

No one using export set here

Since 2 to 3 years ago after Oneplus is taken over by oppo, it is difficult to flash. Have to use msmtool with an authorized account to flash

Not sure about Oneplus 11. Can't comment on that for export set flash global rom. On my wife oneplus ace working though

Received my OP11 on yesterday on Sat evening, after placing order on Sunday prior
(Delay due to free gifts)

So far enjoying the Oneplus interface
Dont really understand the debate about Color/OxygenOS to be honest even though i previously used OP5

Changed from Pixel 5 so still getting used to the bigger size
Quite clean and similar to stock android, and i also appreciate some additional features added by OP (like focus mode)

anyone got any screen protector to introduce? Since the film thats on default like not very reassuring

erm.... got shopee seller start selling ace 2 with oxygen OS... :s12:
have been those options for quite some time now. Same for aliexpress. Ace2 flashed with 11R ROM basically. cheapest i've seen is 668 after shop and shopeepay coupon for 12/256. not a bad price actually since other sd8+g1 phones with 12/256 like k60, gt neo5, all around there also and Ace2 likely has the least "bloaty" software.

If no need local 2 yrs warranty, don't care for SD8G2 (and other latest specs), ultrawide/telephoto cam, plastic frame, lower fingerprint position, potentially might not have widevine L1 (my Ace flashed with 10R is L3 only).... seems okay for the price. especially now that the launch promo for OP11 is over. Unless that or a similar promotion is coming back, the Ace2 could be worth considering. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hmmm. Still deciding to get 1plus11 or Realme Gt Neo 5...
realme gt neo 5 if u prefer flat screen / 150w -240w charging . if not , op11 /11r is a good option. personally i tried gt neo 3 for 1 week and went back to curve screen phone. the gt neo3 charging was super fast though , their best feature. gt neo3 camera quality very bland too , kinda disappointed when i bought it as my main camera phone to indo.

haha. i thought Ace 2 or GT Neo 5 would be the closer competitor in terms of pricing. But in regards to the OP11, not sure if the current non-promo price is as worth it though since market price for S23 series in general has gone down so much (below 1.4k for 256GB s23U at shops), and while performance for gaming likely isn't as good based of reviews I've seen, and warranty is now just 1 year, it has other things going for it which might be worth the small top up. But I digress.

between gt neo5 and OP11, to me it's ultimately down to software support, whether you want a good ultra wide, and how much you want that SD8G2 chip?

realme ui might be based on colorOS too, but from what i've seen on the GT Neo3, it's like a more bloated version of it, while OxygenOS is like a less bloated version of colorOS. oneplus also promise longer support.

for camera the ultrawide on the gt neo 5 is as basic as it gets. though the microscope camera might be fun. but other than that, OP11 seems to have better hardware all round.

then last would be SD8G2. to me, if it's for day to day use or less demanding games like MLBB and whatnot, SD8+G1 probably is more than enough. For Genshin, I do think the SD8G2 still has an edge.

the best example i have is the test results from this channel from a Chinese reviewer. SD8G2 can use less power to produce better results. since it's more powerful, it probably don't have to strain as hard as SD8+G1 and has more breathing room. https://www.youtube.com/@bonjour2793

seems like miss the boat there isnt any more freebies on shopee but still unable to give up on my old op7pro for the full screen as it just feels awkward with a pinhole camera cutout at the corner

you will eventually get used to it, was a op7pro user too. imo side pinhole not as obvious compare to middle pinhole camera.

think some local phone shops are selling at discounted price(with local op warranty) compared to shopee. you can find them on carou

I upgraded from OP3 then to OP7T Pro and now OP11.

I don't do wireless charging and I never let my phone go underwater but I do want a snappy phone that has excellent battery life, can charge fast, last longer in terms of software and security updates, sports a relatively clean UI, and still not cost a bomb. I feel OP11 has made the right compromises and checks all the right boxes for me.
