Just came across this thread.

Read five pages of it (backwards). Will continue to read the 100+ pages when i wake up!

Any kind soul can summarize the goodness of the phone? Im now using the worst phone ive ever bought in my life. Just want to get rid of it.

I need a phone with good battery life and decent camera. Current phone batt drains 70% overnight. Phone restarts by itself. Batt and motherboard replaced and the ptoblems persist.
which model so horror?

Asus Zen phone lor...sometimes don't know if the CPU is charging the phone or the phone charging the CPU. The later I believe. Charged my phone when it's 4x% and one hour later it's 13%.

Just got the invite yesterday. My husband's queue number shorter than mine still haven't get so I'm thinking to get this phone for him, his current HTC phone reception CMI.

If don't compare to OnePlus One, how is the performance of this phone?

Need help here!

Anyone using OPT with Starhub LTE network experiencing problems?

my LTE keeps dropping to H, and seems unable to connect back to LTE unless i do a restart (either on/off airplane mode or reboot phone).

Might be some settings with radio bands.

had it since Monday. personally i feel it's a great phone.
4gb ram is a beast. super fast and lag free.

here's the few cons from OP forum
1) no NFC (personally dont think is an issue here)
2) no wireless charging ( again no big issue)
3) no quick charge (deal breaker for alot of people)
4) screen same OPO. no improvement, still no quad hd

U help me out! Summarize the thread! :p

There were some bugs on the older version, but the current version 2.1 has fixed most bug.

Some people who bought the earlier batch has problem being the fingerprint scanner not responsive. But I believe most of us who ordered from lazada don't have this problem. Fingerprint scanner works 95% of the time for me.

Camera is good. It's behind the Note 5 but better than Moto X Pure (check out Erica's video on YouTube).

Should be able to receive it within 2 working days upon ordering. Today my 1st day using it so no comment on battery life yet. But MKBHD gave it a B+(4hours+SOT).

Overheating is not a problem here like other 810 phones probably because the processor in the OPT is underclocked to 1.8ghz. No performance issue either.

Approx 51GB left of free space out of the box. 2.3GB free ram on mine after a fresh boot. No apps reloading issues unlike my S6 Edge. Overall a good phone for $600.

thank you!

My main concern is battery life. sometimes i'm out of office 3/4 of the day. and i travel quite a bit. so battery life is very very important!

Self import.

Singtel no problem. Starhub has problem. I guess it's because of the LTE bands

then it is expected if you got the USA set which is missing Band 3.

All our local Telcos are using LTE bands 3 and 7.

Band 3 1800mhz : Superior indoor signal strength with a longer range
Band 7 2600mhz : Suited for covering populated zones and managing data volumes due to their larger bandwidth

Starhub initially started with Band 3 only, and Band 7 started just 1-2 years back IIRC so its not as well covered yet.
