They got it from being in the reservation list? If it's random then what's the use of the position then:s11:

No, one of them was in 8k-ish. There are ppl under that who have not gotten their invites. Reservation list is for left overs invite if u read the page carefully.

Are the invites region specific? If I want a eu/india version should I look for India invite? Or are invites interchangeable?

The invite must/can only be claimed on oneplus.net website only by the receiver. Once claimed, the code can be used to purchase the device on amazon (for India), or from oneplus if from EU.

Anyone can purchase from amazon India using the code, but obviously the phone will only be shipped to India.

Yes, the invites are region specific, especially for India. You cannot use India invite to purchase from oneplus.net. I believe there are currently only either India or global invites.

There were ppl in EU who received Indian invites. There were also ppl in India who received global invites.

Thanks. I have friends in India. So India invite will obviously work out for far cheaper for me. So, getting a North American invite or an India invite is purely by chance eh? I have registered a us address (forward address I had used for shipping oneplus one) and my Singapore address in the oneplus account.

Is anyone selling the North American or EU version in Singapore? I could find only Chinese versions for sale.
Waiting is so frustrating. If I don't get a phone by end of the month I might have to go for nexus 6. Alternatively can you guys suggest some good phones I can get immediately?
