If you have read the previous posts. Yes, the invite can be given to others. The invite must be claimed on the invite owner's oneplus account, then the code can be given and used by others.

i did that and the recipient of the code say got 'code already redeemed' message though the code is still sitting in my account.

Purchasing OP2 using lazada app is not supported. It's stated on lazada OP2 terms and conditions page http://www.lazada.sg/oneplus-tnc/.

Did you click on the invite link (use now link) from oneplus.net website? If yes, that may be the reason.

Once the invite is claimed on your oneplus.net account, DO NOT click on the invite link again which will bring you to lazada OP2's page. I noticed Lazada keeps track of this once you clicked the "use now" link on your oneplus.net account.

And for those who kept clicking on the invite link on lazada, if the invite code is invalid/being used/etc, you will get this error after 3 attempts:

You entered a wrong code more than 3 times, please try again after 6 hours

If you got payment issue with the order, you should contact Lazada's support. Just call their hotline. Actually, I don't quite understand why some people even got payment issues multiple times.

If the invite has been marked as used on your/someone else's oneplus.net account, then you won't be able to use it. OnePlus also won't reinstate the invite. This has happened before to others for other reasons, but OnePlus wouldn't reinstate the invite.
