I totally agree with you. The notch is a horrible design. Unfortunately looks like this is going to be the trend next year liao. Especially with news that Android P got some code for notch, Google may also put the crappy notch in future pixels...

if you watch jerryrigeverything's video, you will see that the oled display for the vivo X20Plus UD is very flimsy as it has to be thin in order for the optical sensor to be able to capture your fingerprint. Thus, if you drop your phone, and the screen cracks, the entire display dies.

but am i going to pass up on the screen fingerprint sensor just because i fear that i might drop my phone? nope, i'll just buy a sturdy case (as I always do) and enjoy the benefits of that new tech..

This year's smartphone trend will be notch cutout screen, like last year's trend is dual camera and 18:9 fullscreen display.

I also regret took out the original screen protector and put on full screen tempered glass. The screen is much less sensitive especially near the edges, worse there is design flaw caused the proximity sensor is not working properly.
Finally took out the tempered glass and screen stay naked since then.

Original sp is good enough. Compared to orzly, I rather use the original sp. Tt time hand itchy and change to orzly, regret almost immediately
