Hi,

Recently i got a new 5t 128GB black and have this issue.

Phone call (dial out) and receiving of sms takes a very long time. When i press call to a number, it will only call out after maybe 5 minutes later. I tried factory reset, it works for a while but became slow again.

Any idea why?

thanks

Am looking for this too, anyone care to chip in? Full adhesive with no bubbles

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the OP5T curved screen, almost all full adhesive glass protectors will not stick properly.

I think only the original one from oneplus website and orzly are the best ones so far but they cut off a bit of the screen on the side. Even then there is feedback from some people that there are bubbles.

I tried one 10 dollar full adhesive glass protector with black border from qoo10 and there are white bubble borders on both sides because it could not stick properly on the OP5T screen.

I almost wanted to throw the protector away but I found this youtube video and it actually worked!

I used canola oil from the kitchen and cotton bud and dabbed along both side edges of the screen protector and after using some paper towels to wipe off the excess oil, it looks perfect with no bubbles at all.

Disclaimer: I do not guarantee the oil won't spoil your phone or if this will last, but it's been ok for a few days.

Add on: After some searching on taobao, it looks like the Chinese already have a similar solution. Some full adhesive glass protectors sold on taobao come with a little bottle of solution, so you squeeze the solution along the edge of the protector to remove the (bubbles) halo effect.

I have this problem also, I think it's one of the recent updates which caused it
I researched and found that it's probably because of some signal issue from the previous call. If you switch on airplane mode for a few seconds and switch it off, it will reset your call signal and it will work for the next call, heard using any dialer works also but I haven't tried it. I also have trouble receiving calls when they give me the buttons to press to pick up or reject calls, the swipe up swipe down screen works fine though, hope they fix this soon

Thats what I thought too that there will not be a perfect tgsp for the oneplus 5t due to the nature of the curved glass edges of the screen. But I found this on youtube and it seems really promising, even the reviews on amazon proves it to be the perfect tgsp.

So looking at the branding and packaging i was thinking it's probably some kind of oem screen protector and was wondering if we could manage to source for it here on qoo10 or lazada.

Been using the orzly tpsg for almost 2 months and dont have any issues with it. It was only my 3rd time applying a screen protector by myself so i am by no means an expert. Have no problems at all with air bubbles or lifting and it fits well with all 3 cases i bought online. The screen cutoff on the sides doesnt even bother or affect me. At least i think me and jtec14 can bear testament that the orzly tpsg works fine and is probably the next best thing apart from the default pre-applied sp.

The market is filled with oem screen protectors and they cost next to nothing. However, theres no knowing whether they even work properly until you purchase and apply them. Rather than trying your luck with the unknown, why not consider using nano liquid even though once applied its not removable. Or if all else fail just go commando since the gorilla glass screen is quite resistant to damage?

Hi all, is the price on qoo10 of $598 a good deal or it has gotten lower? Before using coupons.
