Simder’s OP5T is from Hong Kong? Means it comes default with oxygenOS and the 3 pin plug?

not necessarily. it's shipping from HK, but could be China set too. best to just ask them. No one here has gotten actual units from them yet, so no one can answer you.:s13:

I had my phone when I first replied to you about the camera. I just snap a few scenery photos, was ok at brief glance. now I take picture of notes, it's quite blurry. I haven't updated to the latest version though

generally for notes it's ok, since going to delete later on. but for serious photo taking, probably have to use something else

edit: serious as in taking pictures of daily life, not serious like professional photo taking

how to snap such that it won't be as blurry / with all the noise?

not asking for sky high requirements. I just wanted the photos to not have the dots and all

1. try to be as stable as possible when taking the photo
2. make sure the photo has been taken before you move again (otherwise you might be capturing a blurred picture)

honestly speaking, there is no tips you can learn just from reading if you are using auto mode .... just have to keep trial and error

I don't have the OP5T but i definitely took some nice shots/photos with the OP5 previously when i still had it

Can't be HK set, the price they're selling is even cheaper than HK set. How to make profit if it's HK set.

Changed from OP5 to note 8 recently, thinking of switching back to OP5T. Any previous note 8 users here that switched to the op5t? Wanna hear your thoughts

The post already stated shipped from China liao, if you refer to their daily deal post, the seller got mentioned shipped direct from china.

Op5 and op5t are pretty much the same phone except for screen, camera and fingerprint sensor moved to the back. Don't expect op5t to be on par with note 8 in the camera department but performance wise, op5t or OP5 is a beast! Actually note 8 is pretty fast when I used it for a week but the phone is too damn long.

Hahaha yeah.. the note 8 is a massive massive phone and it's quite a challenge operating it with one hand when required. There's always this constant fear of dropping breaking the screen too as I've yet to stick a tgsp!😅

Definitely miss my op5's insanely good battery life and dash charge after switching to the note 8. Somehow after using oxygen os, everything else just isn't as fast.

Ya oxygen os is quite light weight with some useful tweaks to vanilla android and having 6/8gb ram just flies.

TouchWiz is just too heavy so it needs that 6gb at bare minimum. After you install some apps that also occupied more memory, you will find it gets slower. For Samsung TouchWiz to compete with OP oxygen OS, it needs at 8-10gb ram

I have taken some lowlight shots, one outdoor, one under house lightning. Im not sure if the secondary camera is activated on both.

What i noticed from these shots is the stock oneplus camera always likes to increase the iso. It does make the image brighter but the clarity/sharpness is lost. Zoom in the feather picture and can see. Might be because of bad image processing too. But its not a bad camera either, just not as good as pixel. Its acceptable at the price range. No much complaints here.
