what recovery are u using? heard the official twrp got issues restoring data if u use parallel apps and the blu_spark one is better?

Yup need to use blue spark or ibe twrp. If you go to the xda thread for the OnePlus beta, there will be links and instructions there.

OK steady! I've only started reading the TWRP threads, will read the beta thread too. In my current 3T I converted from F2FS to ext4 so that TWRP will load faster, must go read if need to do for 5T also..

last time during the 11.11 or 12.12 time, this also happened, then people posted and accused them of being a scam company, this made them pretty angry and they rebuked that they are not a scam company.

Its obvious these shops dont have ready stock in hand and they say so just to entice those who are not willing to wait to order from them. Sad to say, there is nothing you can do against them other than to wait for them to eventually fulfill the order or to cancel it if you are not willing to wait anymore. Even this Simder also up to funny business. I see from their listing there are a few "delivery/collection after 9th Jan" orders which have already received their delivery and left their reviews. But when i called the shop they insisted stock only in around 11-12 Jan.

I saw too, but actually those comments from Simder in Jan are from "Pick up and deliver after 27th Dec" batch, don't know when they placed their order. not those "after 9th Jan" batch.

Yes it is true that Simder did have some stocks on hand so those lucky people still bought from them despite them claiming delivery would only be after 9th Jan received a big surprise when they were told that they could collect that weekend.
