btw, where did you get the case from? it seems it's slightly cheaper from Lazada than Qoo10. Though.. the delivery as stated on lazada is quite long. Whereas from the reviews on Qoo10, lots of people mentioned fast delivery...

now got adaptive color album art when you're playing songs, which i observed from spotify and youtube, when you slide down the notifications, very cool! I updated and cleared cache, upon booting into oreo, the speed is so much smoother than on nougat.

Saw a bro mentioned that press vol down+power button but that is screenshot button for me..

this case seems interesting. mind giving your opinions about it?

i love my spigen rugged armor but sometimes i feel it is a bit bulky. and also that it doesnt show how sexy the OP5T is since it is opaque.

the ringke fusion seems to be more minimalist while being transparent so can see the oneplus branding at the back (which i find really nice ). Also, i use a bluetooth earpiece so this ringke fusion case can protect the 3.5mm jack from dust/sweat when i bring it out for a run. one thing i am curious though is the usb-c cap bending outwards all the time? and any other opinions regarding the case is welcomed too

I bought from Qoo10, Ringke at $11 ($18 - $3 coupon - $4 qpoints) excluding card rebates. Now don't have $3 off $18 coupon, can use $2 off $15 which bring down the cost to $12.

Noted in Lazada, cheapest at $14.88, unless you got other promo code, I doubt it is cheaper than Qoo10.

I upgraded from 3T, a yes for me with bigger screen and I preferred fingerprint sensor at the back. The rest as usual for oneplus phones, snappy.

depending on what u upgrade for. Batt life might be tiny bit better, though gsmarena rates it as almost the same. Cam for day time shots i can't see much diff, night time 5T is brighter but it's not significantly clearer or less noisy.

the rest of the reasons will be because your 3T batt has deteriorated or because you want a new colour or because you want a bigger screen.

New oneplus 5t user here!

Was using the Nexus 6p before this. Everything was okay till the battery started deteriorating. Thought it wasn't worth it to change the battery since there's a few complains for it to last only a few months after that.

So the next obvious choice was to get a oneplus phone, for the stock-ish android feel and snappy performance without the bloatware. Really surprised at how this phone flies through literally everything. Feels a tiny bit faster than my 6p somehow, app loading and basic navigations through the UI. And that face unlock tho.

Got the phone last week from Lazada when the 64gb price was just $619 so it was a no brainer. Came with Android Nougat but the battery life was a beast. 24 hours of use with SOT of 8 hours++. And that was from full charge to 20%. Just updated to Android Oreo ytd and still monitoring the battery life.

Coming from Android Oreo from my Nexus 6p, I'm already used to all the new changes. Gotta love the notification dots and the notification shade changing to the album artwork.

Sure, there's no water resistance, no expandable storage, camera not up to flagship standard, mono firing speaker but there's no such thing as a perfect phone. It depends on which tradeoffs you can live with and depends on your daily usage. Overall, really happy with this purchase. Say no to overpriced phones hahaha.

Btw, what's a good tempered glass that works well with most cases?

my 3t lots of dirt got into the holes as well as needing new case so might as well look at 5t
because 3t camera sucks if 5t camera is as sucky then will hold off

That's true. And the phone gets super hot after awhile which is annoying. Good software but hardware didn't back it up.
