This. Actually I don't think there's any mention of how the warranty will work. Do they have parts to repair locally, will they verify and just replace the phone, or send it back to OnePlus to service and then return it. The history of OnePlus devices in Singapore is.... meh.

That said, the cheapest export set is around 580 or so with the use of gift cards on qoo10 and what not? If they're selling for 600+ actually still okay if it's really more convenient in terms of warranty. And can get compatible UK 3Pin dash charger.

Kind of hard to buy from local distributor...the history of past distros makes it hard to pay that premium for local warranty. And the commitment of Oneplus to our market is a doubt. Prefer to buy export set

nope, the root fix only applies to the front cam, the back cam works perfect. Just disable front cam hdr

Update on phone

I received my phone today.

Pre applied screen protector is fine with no scratches or dents. Box is however dented but I'm not sure if it is from shipping from China or Qexpress.

Still get OTA updates confirmed.

This one hit and miss leh. sometimes the cam button doesn't even work, like i take one pic already, then when pressing the cam button again, it doesn't work, nothing happens.

Without root, you cannot install the Magisk module. Then the gcam will not work properly. Are you using custom ROM instead of stock ROM? Using custom ROM will mean that you are already rooted.
