LUL....till now still nobody knows what their so called "local warranty" entails. If its just nothing more than helping you send back to HK for repairs then its hardly worth whatever premium you pay for this "warranty". And techies hardly stay on the same phone for that long a period for the warranty to be worth. But then to each his own. I already happy happy using my 64gb for more than 3 mths which i bought on qoo10 for less than $600.

The days of the $580 64GB 5T seems to be over, since OnePlus announced 5T no more in production and 6 just around the corner...

I have already mentioned earlier that $580 should be already at the best price back then. Oneplus phones lowest price is always around $560 to $580 for 64 GB new set. This has been the case for quite some time if you have monitor the price of past oneplus phones.

Unless you plan to get 2nd hand phones, if not that should be around the price you should buy. Given the pricing increase with each oneplus new phone, oneplus 6 best pricing should be around $600.

Dont quote me on it but there might be a qoo10 $100 coupon event coming soon(either this wkend or next week). Nowadays qoo10 seems to only release $100 coupon once per mth so miss it and you have wait for another 4-5 weeks. And prices for op5t have more or less plateaued. Those still waiting sld probably buy now while there is still stock or just continue to wait for op6 instead.

No difference what. Seller up the listed price to above $1000 so you can make use of the $100 coupon while providing additional shop coupon to further offset the price down to $600-700 range. Back in Jan when i bought my 64gb, the final price was $611 - $18 saved from gift cards - $12 saved from using qpoints - $7 saved from shopback cashback = $574

Hi all, wonder if this is a good time to buy 1+5T given that 6 is coming out soon. Lowest I saw was $629 for black 6/64(non local)
Saw an alternative of starwars 8/128 going at 798$(local apparently,they say provide invoice for warranty but I think it's export set)

Will need to switch phone soon as my nexus6 just dropped on the floor thus having the spiderweb screen already and battery that is dying off
