5h sot with 33% left. Qhd , 90hz. Guess this sot good enough for one day of daily usage. I will stick to this configuration.

Yes, its consistent for me my usage pattern too. I typically still have round about 40% or slightly more after a full day of usage. I don't game on my mobile phone, but read a lot on it.

Thanks bro
Yeah that's what I thinking too. P30p is real flagship while op7p is ex flagship killer, more like wannabe flagship now . Lol

Just itchy want to try the software. Are there any interesting features of oxygen os on android p that is unique to the op7p only?

I wouldn't know what's EMUI is offering to be honest, the last huawei phone i owned was Mate 10.

if u really want me to compare, i would say EMUI is quite heavy on the resources, largely because Huawei got their own services & apps running in background which you can't really stop it.

Where as OxygenOS are pretty lean. You get alot of snappyness out of it. Partly because of the UFS3.0 and the code that OOS built.

There is nothing really biggy about OOS. However if you are an android purist who seek pixel experience. OOS is the closest you can go.

thanks for sharing now then i know 1+ have store in lazada lol

the price i compare for local (2years warranty) vs export not very big different so why still buy export sets ?

Sent from Xiaomi MI MAX 2 using GAGT

huh? are you serious? have you compare the export set pricing?

local set is selling 1.1k for 8gb/256gb variant

export set is selling $840 or even lower for 8gb/256gb after discount and qcoins.

EDIT: to further add-on, if you follow Singapore OnePlus closely, this is the 2nd/3rd change of distributor/service centre within a short span of 3yrs?

PLUS, apparently there are some OP users who bought their set locally, have a problem with their mobile, they tried to send in to the local service centre, the company outright reject them that they no longer service OnePlus phone.

so you tell me, do you still wan to buy locally + OP built are pretty solid, i own OP3, OP6 and now OP7Pro.. all are working perfectly fine after a yr of usage.

Yeah sia, if you talking about resell value and all. Local set or export set, people don't really care. They see both as the same.only Apple and Samsung got higher resale value locally compared to the rest of the phone brand. Might as well just buy export set for cheaper price. You'll also suffer lesser loss and sell alot easier when you sell cheaper as 2nd hand. 1.1k local set vs 750 for Amex OP7 plus deal export set.

Except where it's for multimedia consumption then the P30 Pro is no flagship in that respect. With a poorer screen and poorer sound.

Too expensive for a local set. I wouldnt buy a phone more than 950.

Previously bought a s10+ for 950 and sold it after a week.

I bought for my bro Op7 pro at that price after using uob card to buy qcoins + cart coupons.

Apparently, if u can get qcoins use that cos the price seems to be cheaper than buying from Quube compared to Qoo10. Think most ppl bought from 131 express on Quube and after the Amex 15% discount, op pro 7 8/256 is abt $740.

Flagship or what is just a name ppl called I feel. If u can appreciate close to stock Android, oxygen os is for u. Personally I hate those heavy customised Android UI and doesn't matter flagship or not.

If you are using P30 Pro. why make the switch?

If you want battery life, just stick to P30 Pro
If you want camera, stick to P30 Pro

you want performance? go for OP7 Pro.

SD --> Kirin --> Exynos --> MTK.

this has been answered don't know how many donkey times.

Local = more LTE bands, warranty coverage by local disti
Export set = flash with OxygenOS, no warranty not as much LTE bands as local set.

if you use it locally, no impact at all.
Local set is GM1913 vs China set GM1910. From the OnePlus website it seems that no different to the LTE bands except for US set. Correct me if I'm wrong.

GM1913 vs GM1910 difference in term of the OS. Stock GM1910 is running hydrogen os without Google services meant for China market while GM1913 running on oxygen os with all the Google services meant for international market.

But OnePlus allows u to flash from hydrogen os to oxygen os vice versa without unlocking bootloader with ease. Those China set or export set are mainly GM1913 where the seller pre flashed to Oxygen OS for u.

You need to buy the head and the cable. U cannot use any usb cable. Strictly theirs.
