when I got the WSD installed, the sales person was saying how for ringke need to be careful and she don't recommend. she said that even when putting it on it doesn't lift the WSD, over time it'll form bubbles. how long have you used the WSD with ringke?

Mine's working well. Been using it for 2 months plus. No bubbles.

I like to buy ph for future proofing
Rather wait another another 4-5 months b4 5G kicks in than spending another $1k nexrt year

Erm, the 5G phone you buy now not necessary means that it will be compatible with the future Singapore 5G. It's only meant to be compatible with the 5G which is specific to the country of release.

There is only one type of 5G lah and it is made by huawei
Even usa also don't have this technology yet

:s13: future proofing. so funny that why there are clowns here like to make a fool of themselves.

so have you factor in the testing phase? coverage? and the plan availability from the telco? how much data and how fast can you download BEFORE it actually matured in Singapore?

and given the technology of 5G, the coverage is shorter, there are more "signal station" needed + the complexity of high building and blind spot that the telco has to cover.

and yes. OnePlus 7 Pro 5G is available in other countries but not in SG. if u like future proof. go find one and buy lor.

Should i take op7 or the pro?? Please sexpert give some opinion.

depends how deep is your wallet.

Non-Pro:

flat screen display. still 1080p OLED. (6.41")
tear drop camera
DASH charger
2 cameras

Pro:
Curve display. 1440p OLED (6.67")
90hz
Warp Charger
3 cameras (wide angle lens)

both UFS3.0 and dual firing speaker. Once u go 90hz. every phone u see 60hz u will feel laggy.

It's not just about the type of 5G. Just look at TPG, only support band 8 & 40. Even if your phone has 4G, but didn't support band 8 & 40, then also no use. So likewise for 5G, you will never know the 5G phone you buy now will support the 5G band of Singapore in future.

I am a firm believer of going all out on a phone. Cos it's something I use daily and I only change it once it's almost dead.
