i understand this is different and subjective for everyone, but how much average battery life are you getting for your OP7P guys?

For me it's become so much better after update to 10.3.0 from 10.0.3.

Change from mate 10 pro. Can really feel the battery drain quite fast. But still manage to last whole day. 7am to 9pm left 20%. No gaming. WhatsApp, fb, insta, reddit

SOT 4.5hrs left 20%

Can I check did you force volte using india LTE profile before you get 10.0.3 then 10.3.0?
Just want to ensure that I will get 10.3.0, coz this 10.0.3 is sucky...

Thanks for this. I updated via oxygen updater however the volte thingy is gone and need to redo the settings. All is well now

Bump post as below.
Updates in blue on the port settings and removing of "Oversea-Commercial_DS". So depending on the type of updates, if it reset the volte setting again, just run the PDC program and redo the steps again.

I suggest you do whatever system updates you want first as those will undo the VoLTE "fix" though (I had to redo it after updating to 9.5.7).

EDIT: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU DO A NANDROID BACKUP USING TWRP OR WHATEVER BEFORE DOING THIS JUST IN CASE YOU !@#% SOMETHING UP.

- Go to your dialer and enter *#800#
- Click enter > oneplus logkit -> function switch -> enable volte switch and vowifi switch
- If you don't see those checkboxes, update the Logkit using the APK from https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79577939&postcount=23 and do the above steps.

You need a PC for this part. Go to https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7-pro/help/force-enable-volte-vowifi-t3934227 and follow the instructions. But basically..

- Download and install the linked QPST thing then download and install the driver.
- Go to the dialer and enter *#801#. Turn on Serial and Full-Port. (The serial cannot be turn on in the last few updates, just turn on full-port will do)
- Connect phone to PC.
- On your PC, go to Start -> QPST -> and run the PDC program in Admin mode.

- In the PDC program, click the Device dropdown (yes, the UI is awful) and select the thing there.
- Look for "Oversea-Commercial_DS", right-click on it -> Deactivate -> Sub0 and Sub1
- Click on "Oversea-Commercial_DS" again and click the remove button.(no need to remove)
- Restart the PDC program and select your device again.
- Pick "India-VoLTE-Vodafone", right-click -> SetSelectedConfig -> Sub0 and Sub1
- Click on "India-VoLTE-Vodafone" and click the activate button.

- Restart your phone! You can now disable the Serial/Full-Port things.
- Go to Settings -> Wifi & Internet -> SIM & Network -> SIM1/2 -> Enable the VoLTE things there too.

Bring this up again. Then again, remember to backup first.

The latest update have disabled logkit *#800#, so you need to install another version in the xda thread post 188 or 220 to access logkit.

Also to highlight, the QSPT version QPST_2.7.460 in the xda thread, wiped out some of my folders in my PC don't know why, the latest version 2.7.474 dun have such issue. Google for the latest version.

what option, the serial port one? I thot still there, just that cannot be turned on.

Also to update that 10.3.0 battery life definitely better than 10.0.3.

Can. I did that. Just do local upgrade. But need to make sure u don't update the hydrogen os to latest else it says ur version is higher

I just bought the OP7P from taobao 1week plus ago. Can I please know if did you ship it over via taobao online? I just realise from the 3rd party forwarder that there is a declaration fee of $40-50 for the phone @ the custom excluding the GST incurred from the phone and shipping. (Haha, end up maybe similar pricing to getting from SG.)

Just wondering if you went through the same process?

First time getting a Oneplus phone as well as first time buying phone from china. haha. Pardon the questions (Still patiently waiting for the delivery~

Hey guys, just received my OP7P 1 hour ago. Successfully flashed to latest global rom. First time using a One Plus phone. Do I have to do all these steps for the phone to work with local sim card? (Giga/Starhub)

there's no volte on giga .. so just slot it in and it'll work.

Wow so happy with this phone.. This is amazingly fast and responsive.. More so after coming from a 2 year old+ galaxy note 8.

So far not updated to latest yet. Still on version 10.02
