Spoke to DBS. Seems like they're aware of the issue.

The problem seems to lie with old oneplus devices + android 11. The update seems to have messed up quite a number of apps. If you check the OP forums there are plenty of complaints raised about the OOS11 on OP devices.

Best best is to downgrade to OOS10 for the time being.

I used to like playing all kinds of phone but coz of issues like these I just stick to the apple and Samsung. Our lives is so dependent on mobile phone that now cannot afford any screw up.

Ashketchum posted a fix for posb app on op9 page, worked for me so far.

found a fix to this. Seems like it's a Google issue on older OP devices. To fix:
1. Go to playstore, look for Android System Webview by Google LLC.
2. Press Uninstall
3. Reinstall back the update
4. Restart phone
Mine was resolved after the above..

Thanks for sharing. Finally worked for me also. Been using the old version 6 previously as the app will keep freezing after successful login.

Yes. After some time, the hanging problem comes back again, and needs to restart phone to use.

In the end, I download from the last v6 from apkpure to use. It is the v7 that has problem with Android System Webview.

I downgrade back to OOS10. Don't have that hang issue on both apps.

crap I have the same problem as well and I was right to assume it was something to do with the update

I'm on the 11.0.2.1 and occasionally get crashes in other apps as well

will probably be my last oneplus phone given the recent developments

Hi guys. I am using the 7 pro and I am on Oxygen os 10.3.8 aka latest Android 10. I am holding out on updating to Android 11 as I hear so many horror stories on 11 like lower performance, battery life, overheating, apps crashing, etc etc until I die die will not update.

Is my fears still relevant? Anyone on oos 11 can share? I am using this as my daily driver having upgraded from Poco F1 and I cannot have any sort of performance, battery, overheating or apps issues at all as I install all my essential banking and credit cards apps, shopping apps, govt singpass app. I also use it as my main camera so again just have no problems with photo and video taking as I am taking many photos and videos of my new born son. Any slight problem with the camera and I will go crazy.

There must be zero problems before I even consider updating to 11.

Are you sure? Many others are still reporting problems...

Anyway I will wait for at least 5 more updates before I will consider updating.

Think I done with this phone. OnePlus team seems like no heart to do updates for it as the phone is already 2 years.

You using Gcam or stock cam app for your 7 Pro?

Think my 7 Pro with Gcam 7.3 takes better shots and sharper images than this.
