i thought last week pricing alr out for 7pro le: both local and export
OP7 local set if selling at 850-900 then not worth since export set at 600-650
probably only k20 pro can beat OP7 in terms of price le. zenfone6 unlikely to win k20 price and should be slightly below OP7 imo

OP7 is unlikely to be below $650. The price should be settled around $680 for quite awhile.
Either do I feels uneasy to support local set with that extra hundred dollars with 2 years warranty where who-know-when new distributor might get replace and we do know a new update is coming 6 month down the road.
Export is the way to go if found a cheaper deal.

the whole thing is gonna flop here lol.
the oneplus is no longer a flagship killer. its just another run of the mill flagship which is priced similarly to other flagships.
but once it comes here, doesnt the s10s, p30 pros etc start to make a lot more sense since you get what is essentially a phone that is almost as good, but backed by much better hardware support?
i bought the 5T because it offered a good experience at 70% the cost. now its 100% the cost. -.-"
i think the mi9, the k20 pro etc and whatever brand prices their 855 phones below 3k RMB or so are the clear winners...
I actually thought about this before I bit the bullet and went for an export set, and paid a little more for 1 year warranty. Incidentally even after paying for the extended warranty, it is still cheaper than the local set with 2 years warranty. My worry really is the fact that the local warranty don't seem very reliable since it seems like a small branch/ service center, and may risk closing down. This makes it just as risky as paying the shop of warranty, so I made the decision to pay less for it by going for the export set and local shop warranty.
The only reason I'm getting irk by Xiaomi is where the marketing their phones.
Rumours said the K20/Pro is international Mi 9 T/Pro or/and Poco F2. Which irked me isn't Redmi a standalone brand from Xiaomi. Why is XM sharing 1 same model into multiple personas. Coming from end consumers's POV, it's quite confusing to differentiate it.

Where got confusing.. Infact xiaomi is smart.. It is same thing as vivo, oppo and one plus.. 3 different companies but infact one main company.. Xiaomi is doing the same thing.. Else how to win mjaor market share in the market.. Now with Huawei gone.. The fight going to be much fiece.. See oppo come out video on indisplay camera.. Xiaomi come out immediately with a better video.. The fight is going to be super fiece.. Consumers is the winner..if OP 7 pro is not curved screen now I already have the phone.. Too bad.. No luck with oneplus..
Go for it.. Even for xiaomi phone.. Most of them I bought export set.. No point support local distributorWhere should I go for export sets?

OP7 going for $718 at qoo10. Where do you go to get the export sets?
Oneplus is moving into high end pricing market after their sister coy realme enters and fill up the low end budget market with vivo. Doubt we can expect any sub 600 oneplus phone in the futureI think xiaomi can do better with the brand segregation if that is what they are after. I only knew the XiaoMi, Redmi and Pocophone are meant to be 3 different brands after spending some time researching a phone for my dad to use as he likes xiaomi.

can get from quube. 500qcoins. now use amex card to buy qcoins got 15% off. so confirm within $600-650. 1 qcoin = $1.39
(you can read fr past few pages got people share the link le, coz i no amex card so not sure what's the procedure like)
i bought the last uob promo which gives additional 10% for every 100qcoins, so i got excess 50qcoins after getting op7. if u have amex card, you'll get better deal than me, but me no amex card![]()

I will not consider Samsung due to my poor experiences with their phones, including their recent S8, not to mention the ones in Singapore runs on the sub optimal Exynos chipset, and not the Snapdragon 855 which is more efficient.
if OP 7 pro is not curved screen now I already have the phone.. Too bad.. No luck with oneplus..
Thank you for the tip. The ones at qoo10 are considered export sets? Local sets are from "official oneplus" at lazada? I thought there are some overseas website offering it at a cheaper price. Tried sites like expansys...banggood...their price are even higher qoo10.
I too prefer 7. Not a fan of curve screens. Alternatives are Mi 9 or Mi9T/K20 but I will still choose oxygen os over miui.

one thing for sure, i'm going to use op7 for a long long time so it better not disappoint~~

You probably cannot just generalize the OP7 price to be $600 to $650 as it is not the general price you can get. Firstly, not everyone has Amex. Next, the Amex promotion is only valid for the first $1000 spent. People might have already used it to buy some other stuff.
What I feel based on the general pricing of previous OnePlus phones, the pricing will probably settle at around $680 for quite awhile (with qoo10 coupons). Of course you can get it cheaper with quube coins though.
