hi guys, need opinions on whether to get sg set from lazada or export. currently cheapest is about 1050 for export and around 1230 for local from lazada after liveup + shopback rebates. 2 years local warranty vs shop warranty (might not even be honored) for the $180 price difference. Please help me make the decision

Local warranty as good as nothing, I will go export if according to past experiences.

I agree with your point, and that was my logic when I changed to my current OP5T.

however, now the stakes (ie, price) is significantly higher and so it's a case of greater risk. back then when I got my OP5T at 720, it not coming with warranty was a gamble I was willing to take. for 1k+? hmmm have to think long and hard haha

that being said however, I've not experienced a single issue with the phone so I guess it's really personal preference of whether assurance of warranty warrants the additional $$

and lastly, the existence of actual warranty coverage is something an interested buyer ought to find out first

Don’t worry, you want warranty, still can buy from like 131, they can still honor some form of warranty for you. For OnePlus, is not worth it for the local warranty, IMO.

Coming from a buyer of OP3T, OP5, OP5T and OP6. All export sets.

You can ask keyoke, he will tell you export sets ftw also haha :s13:

Pro or non pro version. That hard to decide. Which u buying my friend?

Actually this time it's not hard to choose. Non pro is more like 6T with upgraded CPU, while 7Pro is full screen, much better and bigger display.

So it basically depends what you want and budget of course.

me beo-ing the standard OP7 - size is still ok for me, not a fan of pop-up camera and no curved screen edge. because of s7e experience in the past, i really dislike the curved screen now but this is my personal preference :o

anyone knows how long will it take for OP7 (non-pro) to drop until $600-650 range based on last year? :(

I think is going to take a long time. Maybe can wait till op7t out first lor

so far, even with those qoo10 discounts, it will at most bring it down further by 50 bucks at most given on how the sellers at qoo10 make use of this chance to earn more profit
