Well it’s hard to balance everything wan cheap n good it’s hard ba

If price not much off a diff maybe less than 200 think have to sacrifice price for user performance n also see which phone can last longer lol

If performance comes at a price, then not much advantage

I will say the 1+7 Camera is the most shocking thing i've seen at night jeez, it is horrific.

For anyone that's interested i used this, followed installation steps and it works 100% no errors nothing on 1+7 non pro:

MGC 6.2.21 APK Port with Marian*********s config file for MGC 6.2.21.

I'm not photography expert but doesn't the OnePlus camera look like it's at night? Gcam one is too bright and doesn't look "normal"

yes. OP cam is really . :s22:

I actually find it decent enough.

However you can't really ding them for it since they do not have deep pockets to collaborate with brands like Leica to help optimize their phone cameras. I actually feel the camera is good, but is held back by the software.

how about OP7?

frankly, the camera is kinda a hit and miss, like you fire 10 bullets and a few can hit the target only :s22: so i need to take several shots then choose the best from the bunch which has the least non-blur and sharp pic

let's just say i prefer using my previous s7e (2016) and xr (2018). super easy to point-and-shoot quickly and get consistent images most of the time. op camera definitely needs a lot more improvement esp in the shutter speed which i'm not v fond of. however, i'm not a camera person so it doesn't impact me that much lol. just sometimes when i really need to take pic on rare occasions, it is a little hard to expect perfect shot with 1 snap  :s22:

Welcome to OnePlus camera experience. Actually if you compare to a few years back. A lot of improvements already. Last time even worst.

lucky i'm not the type who cares about camera more than other areas, but then i think op should also do more if they really want to attract more people in getting their phones. frankly, i can't recommend this phone to friends who are camera ***** on social media, but then it has this incredibly beastly speed and sth that many android phones are lacking of. guess there isn't a perfect phone or else it will be more expensive than iphone which isn't worth it le :o

other than this, the rest of the performance is really very satisfactory. can quite boldly say it's close to iphone smoothness in daily usage - this is sth i'm pleasantly impressed and no regrets (so far)! :o

This one i know. But i know the Gcam community is strong. Hopefully they match pixel camera. As their shutter speed is pretty quick.

The colors and HDR aside the main issue I have with the camera on 7pro was the shutter speed. Takes at least a second before the photo is captured.

By then whatever you wanna take already gone liao :s22:

:s13: i did realized as well.. not sure what's stopping the software when pressing the button.

pixel camera was so snappy... i heard pixel cam is that, the phone already start taking picture in the background sliently even before you press the shutter button.
