But I have a feeling it might also be my app thsts the issue.

Using telegram call is quite OK, better than whatsapp call.

If so, this means software issue.

Will try BT earpiece see if it's better generally for all apps.

Hi when u purchase it to collected today? I also brought it from 131 Express on last Sunday, till today they still did not contact me for collection.

I bought late Fri last week and just received the collection confirmation today. Today their new batch of stocks just came. If by tomorrow still no news from them I think highly likely you need to wait till next week liao. WhatsApp them to check !

I bought on Tues but I msg them thru the app asking when the stock is coming and got their sms ard 4:30pm. So went down at 5plus to collect. Their service is good and even provide table n chair for you to check the phone till u are happy with it.
Box comes sealed but China set pre installed with Oxygen OS instead of Hydrogen OS? Initially saw that the box is sealed I tot maybe I need to flash to Oxygen OS myself...

Maybe... So not so much with the he adapter... Maybe just online the type c earpiece which isn't that expensive as well. Since I use it mainly for video n concall.

OK confirmed liao. BT headset much better than type c adaptor. Mainly it's my con call app (zoom) that doesn't work well with the wired mic.

Updated the OP7 firmware to Oxygen OS 9.5.6 last night and is getting crazy good battery life. overnight drain is only 2% from 12am to 7am. And 1hr SOT only consumes about 5% battery for some Reddit, web surfing and YouTube on wifi. Really impressed with this update.

Updated the OP7 firmware to Oxygen OS 9.5.6 last night and is getting crazy good battery life. overnight drain is only 2% from 12am to 7am. And 1hr SOT only consumes about 5% battery for some Reddit, web surfing and YouTube on wifi. Really impressed with this update.

VPN to update faster as they do gradual region rollout. You don’t VPN definitely don’t have yet.

Just download the oxygen updater app to download the firmware then go to system update and select local upgrade. Easy peasy and no need root or sideload

hi... thinking of getting the oneplus 7 from qoo10, probably 131. got some questions on the export sets
1. are they china sets? does that mean they will be missing some LTE bands? how much impact would the missing bands be?
2. i read a few posts that the updates can be done by downloading and then doing the update from the file. Is OTA not available for these sets? and are there multiple models that will need specific files (i read like got GMA1501/03/05 models for different countries)

1. Yes they are china sets. Unless u have to keep travel to US, else should not matter. I have tried the phone at Australia, Taiwan, Hong Kong and working fine
2. Yes OTA is available. However OTA is released in batches. So for us whom we are impatient in waiting, we will use oxygen updater to get the update a few days before OTA reaches our set. You can always wait for OTA to reach you

Updates after 2 weeks with the phone:

Very nice... Oxygen OS is great and I really like the fast charging. I used to leave my iPhone to charge overnight but at times I fall asleep and forgot to charge. With this phone I can wakeup, prepare for work and by the time I leave house ready with full charge.

The phone suits my lifestyle!

I think I shall be patient and wait for the ota lol. Wanna minimize downloading apps and keep it as clutter free where possible

If battery life really can be improved will be good bc I find it to be decent only. Maybe bc using dualsim so drains a lot more quickly

9.5.8 is for OnePlus 7 pro. One plus 7 latest is 9.5.6

Did not expect to get it today cos the courier pick up from 131 at 12.30pm thought will only be delivered on Monday but delivery guy show up around 6 what a surprise. Good packing from them, box full of air bag protecting the phone box from dent. Happy weekend for me

I also like how professional 131 packed the phone box to prevent any dent. The seller newstar packaging is really lousy in comparison

For OP7 Pro 8/256 China set the model is GM1910. What is the model for local set? Really got band difference? I go to China website vs HK website, the bands listed are the same...

Camera shutter speed's pretty disappointing compared to the Pixel's instant snap, especially for kids.

Photo quality however seems comparable
