s10+ so big battery 4000mah also poor battery life?

k20 pro got so poor os? mmm guess miui really not good afterall

didn't know mate2 pro so good, quite a surprise

ya exynos processor is inferior to sd855. charging is so slow and i cant get used to it.

K20 pro is good other than the OS, it will be perfect if there are custom roms in future. However unlocking the phone will render some bank apps unusable, hence i let go.

Mate 20 pro is really superb. my favourite until 7 pro came.

have yet to try p30 pro.

TBH, miui improved alot over the years. Its is much smoother now but u will find glitches along the way as u use it as a daily driver. Not good enough for a heavy user like me. Cheap but lacking in quality.

s10+ if u get locally is use samsung's exynos processor, which quite power hungry one. only in usa or canada then can get the snapdragon variant, but even then, battery life not much better than mi9, even though mi9 got 3300mah battery. got video on youtube.

agreed that miui sucks even though I use xiaomi :s22: that's why I always don't buy immediately, wait abit see if got custom rom and price drop then buy.

mate 20 pro really quite all rounder la, only thing is no headphone jack lor.

if u say u gonna use custom rom why not go all the way and use magisk also? :s13: I using gpay just fine on custom rom with magisk, some more also get root access (though not needed for most people).

Miui is too highly customized liao too many features making it too heavy n hard to use... There are definitely more bugs compared to oxygen os.

While i have used a Mate 10 Pro previously and liked it, after switching to Pocophone F1 and now to OP7 Pro, I have to say that OxygenOS is really one of the lightest. Huawei's EMUI is the worst offender with a lot of dup applications. :s13:

Yes, Huawei is great at hardware, but software wise it can't touch OP and Oxygen OS.

careful leh.. we got a MIUI fanboy here. wait he say u dunno how to use.. :s13:

improved. but still the same as samsuck.. they still have their own apps that deals with ur daily needs. calendar, calculator, xiaomi store.

i ever tried using Pixel 3 with magisk + custom kernel.. there is alot of abnormal symptoms when i use ibanking apps.

example... i login to OCBC via web, they push authentication, my phone notify me.. but when i wan to confirm the login, it refuse to go away. the only way to do it is to force stop the app and relaunch.. exit.. and re-auth again then it will go in.

from then on, i think i give up.. nowadays there is little reason to root/unlock/flash custom rom unless u using some shitty rom like MIUI. oops.

I see. Battery life seems poor coming from k20 pro

1) 90hz refresh rate
2) 2k display
3) li-ion battery needs a few charge to get their best condition.

u want good battery life?

1) adjust to 60hz
2) set to 1080p

i ever set that, my SOT can reach 7hrs+

Lol its a discussion why so worked out and offended? I am just saying my experience and the cons of wsd which is the sides got dust and if u clean the sides there are risk of ripping the glue out :s22:

this is because of the design of the tempered glass 2.5D (not just WSD) making the edge of the tempered glass smooth and curvature.

so naturally when you drip the loca glue, when cured, naturally the side will still expose the glue.. that's why u see dust love the glue so much until they stick to it.

if u want me to choose between loca glue/adhesive/dot matrix tempered glass..

i will still choose loca glue type.

i agree with what u said, i will always go with full adhesive screen protector (thats if one that comes out and stick properly to the curve screen, which is difficult as the screen curvature varies from set to set), so for now, best solution is the loca glue based

i cant stand dot matrix with rainbow effect affecting the display quality definitely!

Actually u need to Magisk hide the banking apps + Magisk change app name (under option).. Then Okay liao

Another thing about dot matrix is when you get water at the sides and somehow it will seep in between the gaps :s22:
