If you talking about OnePlus launcher, you go to launcher settings (either pinch in with 2 fingers or long press on empty area in home screen), there is a setting for notification dots. Go inside and toggle that on.

But Qcoins can only use Amex or UOB then worth it (Can't remember). I went in and saw only $15 cart coupon discount.. Lol

Nope don't think there's notification count for OnePlus launcher, you will need a 3rd party launcher.

OnePlus launcher is pretty much barebones with some customization, that's about it. It also has the special app closing animation if you use gesture navigation, ie if you swipe up to go home, the app animation will fly back into the icon.

Using other launchers, swiping up for home will just make the app close by disappearing downwards.

That's why I'm using it now because of the app closing animation. Other launchers have the Oreo style app animation.

yah, especially since the oneplus official store in lazada is selling op7 china set for $799.

$650 is consider good already.

seriously OP launcher got no default unread msg badge counter?

is this a stock android feature? meaning pixel phone also won't have that?

Lazada selling 7 non pro at 649 now, so if you have lazada voucher + bank voucher, u can get it lower. If no voucher, compare with qoo10/quube which will be around 6xx(<650) also.

Yes you are right. The pixel launcher has no badge counter, just a notification dot. I myself used to like seeing notification badge number on other launchers but it seems redundant for my use actually, so notification dot is enough for me. I guess if you really want the badge number then have to use 3rd party launcher.

why do they think unread msg badge is a useless feature? it may seem like a small thing but is super important to me tbh

that's like going into mailbox, but duno how many unread msg you have but just a dot indicator which is practically useless

seriously, we have smartphone pushing speed limit to higher higher benchmarks year after year but now it can't even do basic counting of notifications... :s22:

sometimes, idk what google pixel developers are thinking...

now i know why their pixels cannot sell well... :crazy:

Thot wanna get pro version but too big..
Hopefully i dont look back on ios ..enough is enough liao...
