My volume menu auto retract

I have a question. I have the OnePlus 7pro. I noticed that when I pressed the volume buttons up or down, the menu appears but doesn't slide back automatically after a few seconds. I have to manually tap on the screen to make it slide back. Is this normal? My previous OnePlus models didn't have this issue. Am I the only one or is my phone os faulty?

But the reviews for this is not so good. Most waited for 3 weeks to get the phone. And for the questions about in stock, they cannot answer directly, always just canned response to call the shop.

Anybody called the shop and confirmed availability?

Only good deal is from jtbc leh planning to call on Saturday and ask if available to pick up, then order and collect on the day itself

Also, what's the difference between China and Global version? Are these critical in choosing one?

Did an interesting experiment last night. My zealot screen protector started showing air bubbles at the sides after 3 months.



I decided to remove the screen protector, washed it and reapplied it using an extra bottle of WSD loca glue i had. managed to re-paste it flawlessly.



from what i noticed, the texture of the WSD and zealot glue is different. i'm hoping WSD uses better quality solution and last longer.

Anyone can intro a slim matte black case with lip protection for the pro?

Was using rhinoshield solidsuit. It's slim but not slim enough. Holding the phone with the case makes it little uncomfortable.

Wanted to try nillkin frosted shield but not sure if it offers decent lip protection for the screen.

Thanks for the link. Good price for 3 months warranty.
For $50 more at OnePhone, you can get 1 yr warranty but not the GM1913 global version i think.

Its black and to be honest, I couldn't care much about the back and design since it's a mirror and fingerprint magnet,which affects usability.

I would also rather this a flat than curved screen.
